AT&T Samsung Galaxy S III Hits Preorder June 6
Only the 16Gb version...
I need to get out of contract so that I can move to a carrier that actually has 4G in my area, and doesn't do things half arse.
Their customer service and billing practices are anti consumer.
Just do it, go to a carrier that will appreciate your business and your hard earned dollars... Switch to Sprint... Unlimited Data !
Keep an eye out on the coverage maps, Sprint is pushing LTE hard and fast to all areas and of you're spending money on high end devices you really need to keep your options open for Unlimited Data.
Right now, Verizon has LTE coverage in my area (home, office) and Sprint has WiMax. Nearest AT&T LTE is 15 miles south of me.
I desperately want to get down to a single phone for voice and data, but although I love my EVO the battery life leave a lot to be desired (and is the main reason I won't buy a data-centric phone without a removable battery).
If Sprint LTE was available here I'd jump in a heartbeat, close down my AT&T account (even with a penalty) and live happily ever after. Fast phone, high speed data and Google Wallet, sweet indeed.
The HTC EVO LTE will have a 2000 MiAmp battery that's quite respectable.
But in another post, I have made it clear that I am completely conflicted, between the EVO LTE that's available now and the pending iPhone 5 ...
My Sprint line is up for renewal in September, and the local Rep thinks that LTE may be up by then around here (which is doubtful, but I'll take her at her word). I'll proabaly wait.
