unimpressed. Anyone really see an advantage to this for anything?

There are other ways to do this, att should have used their resources for other things.
i already have gmail and hotmail, dont need another email.

Yahoo Account

It's basically a special Yahoo account. So if you already have one, it will be impossible to use the AT&T one without deleting all your yahoo cookies. Stupid.

didn't work for me

went to att.net and it just opened up My Yahoo portal page. No mention of how to sign up for an att.net email account. Oh well I guess I wil have to live without this most wonderful feature!! 🙄
Try this - I did it. Now I have another email address, I think that gives me about 6, but it does let me keep one very private and use the others to collect all the spam. Don't know if it was worth it, but I did send mlb.com to my phone and it was a...
