According to statements made by AT&T's executive director for radio access network delivery, Gordon Mansfield, the company is preparing to femotcells that will be available to consumers within a few weeks. Mansfield said, "we will expand [the current trials] into a marketing trial of the AT&T-branded 3G Microcell, which will be open to customers through our AT&T stores…in a handful of cities. Femtocells?

So this is like a wireless signal booster? Anyone have any idea how much these things will cost?

NEED MORE INFO ☹️
Not quite the same as a signal booster. A femtocell is like a tiny cell tower, that uses the house Internet connection to relay the calls to the service provider:

Phone -(cell radio)- Femtocell -(VOIP over broadband)- Provider.

ABOUT TIME AT&T!!

I have been fighting with AT&T for 4 months about the coverage at my residence. I'm a AT&T fan-boy, but if I don't have coverage...duh. Well I haven't found someone to help me out with the termination fee or someone who can get me in with talking to the tower install team. I have been asking about femtocells and they have no idea what I'm referring to.
Hehe...well my thing is this...if you cant at least call from your home location why are you a fanboy?....just sayin
