Huawei Shopping Its Handset Business

Huawei Technologies is considering selling a large portion--possibly even a majority--of its handset business to a foreign investor. Huawei, which is a Chinese maker of telecommunications equipment, said it will use the investment to help it enter the North American market and become a supplier of handsets to North American wireless network operators. The sale, which could total in the billions of dollars, is in the earliest stages of discussions.

Shouldn't it be selling its handset business?
