Google today made a new version of Gmail available to iOS devices and the refreshed email app boasts new features and performance improvements. To start, Gmail for iOS now includes the Undo Send tool from Inbox that gives people a short opportunity to recall emails before they are pushed out. Gmail gains a swipe to archive/delete function, as well, which provides more control over inbox clutter. Google improved search in Gmail, adding instant results, spelling suggestions, and raw speed. The revised appearance includes sleek transitions and quicker performance across the board. Gmail for the iPhone and iPad is free to download from the iTunes App Store.
