Motorola has joined the Sidekick team with a smaller Sidekick that packs just as big of a punch. Plus, we demo the new Sidekick mail client.

This video tour is more than just a chance to show the Sidekick Slide and compare it to the Sidekick LX. We also introduce the new mail client for the latest generation of Sidekicks, which is being sent out to LX and Slide owners over the air this week. T-Mobile can now provide instant push email for Yahoo! and AOL mail users so they receive messages the instant they come, just like their Tmail accounts. Multiple mail accounts are now also separated by tabs so you can view mail from just one account at a time. For an in-depth look at the new mail center, we took picture of all the change notes as well as all the new screens.

You can also see the new mail center and everything else about the Sidekick Slide in action in this video:

Or you can visit YouTube for more viewing and sharing options.

call quality

I was really hoping to hear something about call quality in Eric's review. CNET said it didn't sound too good. Another UK review said it was OKAY. So what does Eric think? Can we look forward to a full review?
I've tested the Slide and call quality seems to be pretty good. Tested the speakerphone with someone in the mall and it didn't break up at all...

Has anyone who has purchased this phone had any trouble with the phone turning off when you open of close the screen? I am on phone number four is less than a week...I cant be the only one having this issue. I love the phone and dont want to have to get a different device completely. I have even tried different t-mobile stores. HELP!!!
I experienced the same thing also! it restarted the first time and the second time it shut off. If it does keep on going like this, i'm going to have to call customer service about it & let them know! In this website

No Windows Live! or Gmail...

...yet. the consumer email is still in the works of having windows live! and gmail added to the list. It will be an over the air update when those are released. Most POP3 or IMAP email services will work though.
