Droid RAZR HD and MAXX HD Go On Sale October 18

Verizon Wireless today announced that the Motorola Droid RAZR HD and RAZR MAXX HD (pictured) will be available online and in Verizon Wireless stores starting October 18. The RAZR HD will cost $199.99 and the MAXX HD will cost $299.99 on contract. The Droid RAZR HD will be sold in black or white with 16GB of internal storage. The MAXX HD will be sold in black with 32GB of internal storage.

Motorola and Verizon Wireless today announced the RAZR HD and RAZR MAXX HD. Both phones run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with a Jelly Bean update planned to reach them before the end of the year.

Motorola recently revised the customer support page that lists which smartphones will receive updated versions of Android and approximately when those updates will arrive. The RAZR M, RAZR HD, and MAXX HD have all received Jelly Bean.

Verizon Wireless today provided more information about when it will deliver the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean software update to the Motorola RAZR HD and MAXX HD. According to Verizon, the new operating system will be pushed out in waves beginning next week.

who would spend the extra for the maxx?

Im just curious with this new andriod phone breaking the long standing $200 dollar mark who would pay the extra 100 for the maxx hd vs normal razr hd.? i might be tempted if i was going the razr path...
