bought this phone thru verizon today (10-25-08). using on their inpulse service.(prepaid). They sell it for $49.99 with activation. I stongly recommend this phone on either prepaid or contract for the who want a basic camera phone. It's got a glossy front face with a rubberized back. It has been updated with verizon's new software including "media center" instead of "get it now" and new menu styling that verizon is using. for the LG VX-8300:great phone....but,
I got this phone about a week and a half ago after wrangling with verizon about my junky RAZR V3M. I have noticed a marketable differance between the two. I absolutely LOVE this phone with one exception. The software version ending in "V03" was a little slow to respond. Bought this phone on Saturday 5/26/07 through VERIZON when I changed from Boost Mobile (Nextel).Ported my phone number over and signed upon verizon's EASY PAY prepaid system. Got This phone for $19.99 on a 1 day manager's special. The original one that I received got very hot after only 3 calls lasting about 5-6 minutes each and then it froze up on me twice. Bought this phone from T-Mobile in San Jose Ca.yesterday (3/4/07) as a prepaid phone.I got it in Candy Apple Red and silver.it was a replacement for my nokia 6030 that I broke. So far, it is one of the best phones I have owned. for the Motorola V195 / V197:good over all phone
very good phone overall. BUT............ the one thing that REALLY drives me nuts is how dust finds its way into the lcd display on the front of the phone. other than that it's a good phone.
