for the Apple iPhone 3GS:
Pretty good phone
Very nice phone, except for the flaky At&T data network, and Apple's closed app store that doesn't allow cool applications. Here are the pros and cons. Pros: - Large screen is better compared to similar phones that have the same resolution display, as it reduces strain on the eyes. - Loud earpiece and speaker volume - Very good call quality compared to iphone 3G - Pretty fast, and not sluggish - The oleophobic (?) coating does make a difference in reducing finger prints and ...

for the Apple iPhone 3G:
Very good device
I've been using a BB curve for long and a Nokia Symbian smartphone before that. I've recently switched to the iPhone 3G and overall I should say I am very satisfied. I am writing this review after upgrading the firmware to version 2.2. Pros: - Vivid display, and very smooth rendering/movement - Display hardware acceleration - Best available as of now - Great for image viewing and video - a real keyboard doesn't take up face real estate - Internet browsing ...

for the BlackBerry Curve 8310:
Powerful, compact, and sleek phone
I've been using a Nokia E62, and then a E65 before, and I recently switched to BB Curve 8310. One of the main features I want in a PDA phone is a qwerty keyboard -- the E62 had it, but it was too bulky. The Curve 8310 is a great phone: compact and sleek, while at the same time convenient to use w/ the qwerty keyboard. Here are the pros and cons. Pros: 1. Qwerty keyboard, convenient to ...

The phone feels pretty compact in the hand and pocket. 3. Fast user interface, no visible lag for menu transitions. 4. Decent camera: small startup time 5. Display is very sharp and clear 6. Earpiece volume is pretty loud 7. Charges very quickly (about 1.5 hrs for a full charge) 8. Slider is strong and ...

for the Samsung SGH-D807 / D806:
I returned it
Pros: 1. Slim and sleek design, lightweight 2. Clear display Cons: 1. Battery life sucks. This is the worst of all phones I've owned so far. 2. The display won't turn off while charging -- there is no way to fix this. So you can't charge during the nights -- the LCD when remained ON for long will burn in. 3. The buttons are very flimsy. 4. Maximum volume during a call is very low. I had trouble hearing the other side outdoors. 5. ...
