for the BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220:
Love it!
I hadn't had a Blackberry in over a year (I was using a Windows Mobile phone), and wanted to get one again. I was considering between the Bold, Storm, and the 8220, after a lot of consideration of the phones themselves, the carriers that offer them, and the plans of said carriers, I decided on the 8220. Pros: * Keyboard is easier to type on than the one on the 8100 I had before. I can actually type faster on the ...

for the Sony Ericsson T637:
This was the "turning point" phone for SE
This was the first phone from Sony Ericsson that really showed what they could do, prior to the 637 they frequently had software and RF issues. Everything since (including the 637 through the W810) has been the best phone in its price range in terms of features, reception, and overall quality.

for the Nokia 3220:
Not the Nokia I know and love
If you get this phone, know that the rubber grips WILL fall out. If you have the option, get a Nokia 6020 instead, it has the same features (and a better screen) but they took out the rubber grips. Being a Nokia, this phone does get good reception, however :-)

for the Nokia 7160:
Best of its day
In its time, this was the best phone Cingular offered! It was SO amazing to have a cell phone that could access the internet... I could even connect it to my laptop and surf the net at a blazing 9600 baud! I think unlimited data with Cingular then was $19.99 and that included, like, 1000 SMS messages too... those were the days LOL A good fried of mine had her 7160 for about 5 years... I dropped Cingular in favor ...

for the Nokia 5165:
Wow
Is there anyone on the planet (over the age of 20) that didn't have this as their first phone? This is probably one of the sturdiest phones ever built... my dad dropped his into a bucket of tar and just took it out, washed it and let it dry out and it was fine! When I worked for SunCom Wireless we had customers that still had this phone from 5 years ago (they generally had to replace the battery a ...

for the Nokia 3250:
Great phone
I have been using this phone with my T-Mobile SIM for a couple months now. Pros: 1) Decent quality speaker for playing music 2) Supports playing music through Bluetooth headsets! (this is a big one!) 3) Great reception (it is a nokia after all) 4) MMS/Internet setup was automatic... even when I switched to my SunCom SIM card, it changed the MMS/Internet setting automatically :-) 5) decent battery life depending on usage habits 6) Micro SD card slot 7) People are always "wow! what phone is that!" ...
