for the Nokia 6255i / 6256i:VZW Branded 6256i
Got a Nokia 6256i a week ago. Verizon branded in VZW box. The center menu key is Way too small Excellent analog and digital reception Used D-Link Bluetooth USB device with Mac. Phonedirector 1.0.7. (Mac shareware )for address book. Mac Bluetooth and Vcard also work. MP3 music files are pretty slow over Bluetooth. There seems NO WAY to get audio files too play as ringtones. The big problem is... NO WAY to get the phone to play midi files downloaded into folders. Error ...

for the Motorola V265 / V266 / V276:Verizon V265
Pluses: Great menu customization. Voice dial for the entire address book, sweet! No hunting for a ear piece "sweet" spot. Very good, clear audio, incoming and outgoing. Ability to hold a signal without dropping Negatives: Small Screen hard on older eyes after extended viewing. No "digital only" setting. Extreme reluctance for phone to acquire an available Sprint signal. No way to force it. The biggest complaint, after _lots_ of fringe area testing and comparison with other Verizon phones, the Motorola seemed to switch to analog too easily and ...

for the Audiovox CDM-9500 / Toshiba CDM9500:Best Reception!
I like my 9500, despite a few minor annoyances like small keys/no outside keys and battery life. One of the most important features is fringe area reception...it's incredible. Better than the startac 7868, while out in the country or in poorly covered suburbs. That long antenna has a purpose... superior signal holding! Also, an important part of a cellular phone purchase is the ability to share tips, tricks and customizations with other users. The 9500 has many options ...
