for the Nokia E63:
The Herald blew his horn again, but it now appeared that the whole village was out in the square.
"Good people," the Herald began, "Ye of the farthest reaches of the Kingdom hath not yet heard, but your King, En Seventy the V, is dead." Furtive grumbles began; the mood was decidedly happier than he'd expected. He continued, "A successor has been chosen, and he is of the same bloodline & kin, by name of Eee Sixty the Third". A few muted cheers went up, but most of the crowd was clearly waiting for more. The Herald ...

for the Nokia N75:
The night was as black as Kodo's wrobes, on the forest path, making no more noise than the air around him
He approached Takano, who was meditating, and threw the blade, only to see it resting in Takano's clenched hand. Kodo gasped. "Don't be surprised," Takano smiled, "You did post it on your MySpace, after all." "I'm a Web 2.0 kind of ninja," Kodo said indignantly, then paused and frowned, "But that was only 10 minutes ago, how did you-" Takano flipped open his N75 to a bright & clear screen that Kodo could read even where he stood. "You get signal out here?!" "Yes, ...

for the Nokia 6061:
It was a dark & stormy night - the kinda night I liked to cuddle up with my good buddies: Jack Daniels & Jose Cuervo.
But not that night. I was on the street that night: I got a call about a murder. "My phone's dead", she said. I stared at her in disbelief, but then I followed her finger to the table. There it was - her old 6010 - dead. It'd started dropping calls & getting fuzzy when she was in the house, she said, I started tinkering, to see if it was a network thing or just the phone. "Don't bother," she ...

for the Nokia 6010:
Simple, powerful, almost indestructable.
The smoke was still clearing from the last explosion, when Mobitex realized he was still alive. Debris pinned him to the ground and he could feel that both his robotically enhanced legs were shattered: the hydraulic fluid was mixing with his blood as both pooled beneath his shattered body. His cyborg arms were also heavily damaged, but there was a chance he could still pull himself free. The sound of approaching footsteps told him he would never get the ...

A Lament for a Fallen Friend. . .
O 3595! First you were among my cellphones! With mighty signal of GSM, you came free from AT&T wireless! Long you served me, never once did your call drop! Simple you were, yet stout of heart, & sure of signal! Large & convenient were your keys, Thrice were you cast to the ground, once in anger at my car, once in anger at my insurance company, and once as a demonstration of your fortitude. Well did you ...

for the Nokia 6682 / 6681:
2 Words: Suh-Weet
HAHA! After drooling & lusting over this phone for ages, it's mine! I was all set to get a 9300 because these weren't available, but it's here in my hand! I love it, and for many reasons. CONs first: - Symbian is a bit awkward. I figured it would be arranged similarly to other Nokias, but it's not really. It's not like learning UNIX, but it is different than OSX or Windows, so there's a learning curve if you've never ...

for the Nokia 9300 / 9300i:
A very classy little thing.
I must preface this with the fact that I don't own this phone yet, I just have played with it extensively at a Nokia experience center. This review is for this who won't get a chance to play with one in a store. The form factor is nice, by no means the smallest phone out there, but not at all bulky . It's roughly the size of a 6010, if perhaps a bit longer (or 'taller', depending on ...
