for the Sony Ericsson W810:Worthwhile upgrade from the K750/W800.
I recently received the W810i as a upgrade for the W800i I have had for the past few months. You may see my other review on the W800i entitled "W800i. A rich experience." under the review section for the K750/W800. Since the W810i shares platforms with the K750/W800 I won't go into great detail except the improvements I have noticed compared to the W800. for the Sony Ericsson K750 / W800 / D750 / W700:W800i. A rich experience.
The W800i does just what it's suppose to do, and does it well. I have been a die-hard Nokia guy, and after a experience with one of thier latest "smart" phones (6681, full of firmware problems), all I have to say is 'Goodbye Nokia!'. Although the W800i is not a symbian, or windows smartphone based, it performs superb. Menus are fast to navigate through, and most important of all, no glitches along the way. for the Nokia 6682 / 6681:A $400 paperweight......
Too bad I didn't listen to you guys about the firmware on this piece 'o junk. WARNING: for anyone considering purchasing this phone (6680, 6681, 6682)....DON'T DO IT! You will regret it when the phone reboots itself over, and over endlessly, you will not be able to place or receive calls, or use the web browser. I even took my SIM card out, and the MMC card out too, and the phone would just sit there ...
