for the BlackBerry 7100i:Great Unit.
What a great unit. I have had many Nextel units, both Blackberry and non, and I really like this unit. It feels great both for emailing as well as talking/DC people. The screen looks great, stil getting used to the new stle keyboard but i am quickly learning how it works. for the Motorola i930 / i920:Save your money.
Overall this phone is lacking one major thing, BLUE TOOTH. I carried one long enough to upgrade to a blackberry 7100i. If you are able to use all the features to its potential, then yes its a great phone for you, and after reading other reviews i am hoping the one I tested was just bad out of the box. for the Motorola i850 / i855:Great IDEN unit.
I carried this unit for about 3 months before upgrading to yet another phone (love working in a Nextel Service Center, I get all the new toys) The overall feel of this unit is very solid, the keypad is layed out very well and audio quality, both ear piece and loud speaker are superb. One of the best IDEN units I have used to date.(i730, i830, i860, i605 and now i850) Great reception (Dallas, TX Market) I think giving the unit a spring loaded flip with push button hinge was a great idea, sure made a friend of mine with Cingular jealous. Probably the worst phone reception wise that i have had the pleasure of using (Dallas, TX Market) This includes i730, i830, i860, i605 and now i850. If you are in a solid coverage area, and want a small phone with the worst battery life of all Nextel units, then go for it. for the Motorola i605 / i615:Good First Bluetooh from Moto for IDEN
Overall the phone performs well. One of the biggest things I noticed is less dropped calls (Dallas, TX market). My previous phones were the i730, i830, i860 and now i605. Of all the phones so far, I have had far less dropped calls with this one.
