for the LG Marquee / Ignite:
Fantastic
Regardless of the negative reviews that are out there, I have found this to be a wonderful device. It is certainly quick enough and handles most apps and games I've thrown at it with ease. I'm not sure why the Zeman review states that the screen is washed out in sunlight, as this phone, when set to its maximum, has the brightest display I've ever seen. It's also the only device I've been able to use outdoors with ...

for the Samsung Captivate (Galaxy S):
Very Solid Device
What you have here is a very well-built device with a ton of features. Its display is simply beautiful and the capacitive screen works fantastically. Mine has had a couple of crashes, but this is just as common in cell phones today as is it in computers. There's just so much going on that it's kind of a given. PROS: + Beautiful display. + Quick, responsive interface. + Camera/Video is great (720p HD). + Solid build. + Endless customization (moreso through apps ...

for the Samsung MM-A920:
Virtually Flawless
As a former owner of an LG-8100, I am a very big fan of these types of phones with side stereo speakers, as they offer unparalleled sound quality. But, after moving to an area where Verizon wasn't available, I was forced to change carriers and sell my 8100. So, I came to Sprint and picked up a Samsung-A900. At the time I was unaware of 920's existence. But being a Sprint manager, I had ...

for the Motorola Q:
Q doesn't stand for Quality.
My fiancee' recently upgraded to this phone and I've spent some lengthly time with it. She can't stand it and neither can I. As with the majority of Motorolas, Q's navigation is more of a wrestling match than it is smooth operating. Buttons are a little too small, but in making a smart phone compact this really can't be avoided. I can't call this a con for that reason, but if you have larger mitts, ...

for the LG Fusic / LX-550:
Another Solid LG.
This phone is fantastic. It's a shame that it is now officially discontinued, as its successor, the LG Muziq, isn't nearly as enjoyable of an experience. This phone just feels right. From its tactile buttons to the overall feel, it is a joy to handle. Everything just seems to work. The included multiple faceplates is a nice touch and the customizable themes, although limited, is nice to see for a change. Pros: + The display is ...

for the Kyocera Marbl / K132 / Velvet:
Oh it's bad... It's REALLY bad.
This is absolutely the s...l...o...w...e...s...t... phone I have ever seen. When texting, I can have the message typed out with my fingers before it is actually finished inputing itself on the screen. The delay is that bad. Sure this phone is extremely cheap, but that doesn't mean it should be marketed or sold... Pros: + Inexpensive. + Light-weight. + Nice compact size. Cons: - Display is absolutely horrendous. - Sound is pitiful. Forget downloading a ringtone, because you won't even be able ...

for the Samsung MM-A900 / SPH-A900 / Ace:
Could be Better.
This phone is not all that it is cracked up to be. It is slow and the features it does have seem like they were cut short halfway through production, with little customization. Pros: + Crisp, vibrant display. + Nice swivel camera. + Records legnthy videos. + Nice media player. + Easy to control on the front. Cons: - Menu is slow compared to other Samsungs like the A920. - NO expandable memory... wtf? - Camera is not very good. - Can't zoom in pictures after you take them. ...

for the LG VX-5300 / UX-245 / AX-245:
Another (fairly)Solid LG.
I just got this phone and have been pretty pleased with it for the most part. I miss a lot of features from my old LG-VX8100, but I couldn't keep Verizon where I moved to, so it's a given that this is quite a downgrade. Pros: + Great call quality majority of the time. + Camera is decent for VGA. + Menu is fairly competent. + Loud ringer. + Overall layout is solid. + Ability to set recorded sounds as ringtoness. Cons: - On some occasions calls ...

for the Kyocera SoHo KX1:
Different is not always good...
Don't get me wrong, this phone is sharp. It has a very attractive design (most likely moreso for the younger crowd), and is packed with features. However, there is one drawback that I feel is the nail in the proverbial coffin for the KX1... Key size. Way too small. It's so easy to mash on several buttons at once. Every time I try to sell this phone, the button size is everyone's numeral uno on the complaint ...

for the LG VX-8100:
Get it. Get it Now! ;)
Yet another superb phone from LG. This phone is so well-built. I cannot stress or convey just how solid the 8100 is. I really can't say anything that's not already been said, so I'll simply put in my pros and cons to support the 8100 even further. Pros: _____ 1. SOLID. 2. Speaker/sound quality is amazing. 3. Menu navigation is very user-friendly. 4. Camera quality is top-notch as well. 5. Crisp, vibrant screens. Cons: _____ 1. Nothing. Seriously. This phone is so well-made and ...
