for the HTC EVO Shift 4G:
unexpected
I am blown away and impressed by the Evo Shift. I was just going to use it for hotspot and google voice purposes but I use it for everything else now. Value: Excellent. I only paid 40 dollars for the shift. Local retail store said to trade in two phones for 110 dollars. Performance: Unexpected. Beat the original Evo in benchmarks and came pretty close to my friend's rooted and overclocked droidx using stock settings. Software: Bloatware minimal. Comes with great Sprint applications and htc ...

for the Apple iPhone 4 (GSM):
Pure Genius
Pros: -Remarkable screen, best I have seen to date. -INCREDIBLE battery life, I can not stress this enough. Coming from a Palm Pre and a Blackberry Curve 8520 this thing blows those two phones out of the water in terms of longevity. -Multitasking is fast and smooth. Even with multiple apps open at once this phone does not slow down. -Apple OS is remarkable and genius. My first Apple product ever and I'm highly impressed. -Have not received a single dropped call since I ...

for the BlackBerry Curve 8520:
Great Phone
As others have stated, this is a budget blackberry but when purchasing it I realized the only difference between this one and the 8900 is the screen resolution and gps... but other than that it's comparable and does the exact same thing as the upper level blackberries. Pros: -First thing is first, this optical trackball is amazing... took me literally 10 seconds to get used to it. It's smooth, sensitive, and responds just the way you want it to. -The phone itself ...

for the Palm Pre (CDMA):
In its own Class
I personally got to play with the phone, and being one of the lucky chosen nine RadioShacks in the Albany region, I got my hands on one two days before launch date (store demo). I do not personally own the phone, but playing with it for a few days in the store I'll give my two cents about it. Pros: -Over the air activation? That's awesome... no programming required. I was highly impressed with that point alone as a first ...

for the HTC Touch Diamond (CDMA):
Great Touch Screen Phone
Pros: Phone is very fast, fastest phone I have used yet; interface wise. Customization of the phone is fantastic. You're able to download an app which will allow you to text message sideways like all the other touch screen phones on the market, a task manager to determine how many resources your phone is using (to conserve battery life), windows is windows, the possibilites are endless. Built in GPS has live traffic reports, runs off of satellites not towers, and never ...

for the BlackBerry Pearl 8130:
It's an excellent smart phone
Sprint's Blackberry Pearl is simply fantastic. Here are the reasons why. Pros: Excellent Reception, no single dropped call in the NY-Tri-state area, to MA, PA, and NJ. (not using roaming either) Sprintspeed is no joke, the internet is ridiculously fast. Streams youtube videos. 3rd Party apps make life so much easier. Expandable micro-sd card slot up to 8GB. Push e-mail, the most beautiful invention. I have 3 email accounts running simultaneously. I get my e-mails faster on my blackberry than my computer. Excellent for work. Sure-type ...

for the Motorola RAZR V3m:
Great in the beginning
I've had this phone for about three months now, and in the beginning it was slow, laggy, and the memory card took forever to load up pictures. A lot of software problems as well, but it only had one purpose... to make phonecalls. At least for that purpose, it was great. The battery life was good; since I talked on it consistently I would charge it every four days or so. All of a sudden, ...

for the Samsung SCH-A930:
Great phone with great durability
Pro: -Speakerphone sounds excellent. -Wired headsets seem to work flawlessly. -Screen is bright with adjustable lightings. -Camera Quality is great (in the beginning). -Recorded videos up to 25 minutes on standard memory. -VERY durable. Dropped it on solid concrete with the phone opened. Only a few scratches on the side. -Voice quality is excellent. You can hear the person well, the other person can hear you well. -I had the phone since August. I remember the many times my calls have been dropped ...

for the Samsung SGH-P777:
good phone with a lot of errors
this phone indeed is an excellent phone made by the one and only samsung. i get signal almost everywhere, the new gsm technology seems to be a lot better and more stable than verizon in my opinion. this phone comes with excellent featues, such as the ability to record up to an hour of nonstop video in mp4 format so that the filesize isn't drastically huge. in most cases the file sizes for videos are good quality and smaller ...
