for the Sanyo SCP-3810 / Mirro:
Great basic voice phone
I got the 3810 with Sprint after being unhappy with a Rumor2. Overall, I really like this phone. I am an adult user who mostly uses my phone for calling, with a few texts per month. I am picky about call quality and the 3810 is excellent on both the incoming and outbound side. Reception is also very good (tested against other Sprint phones in a fringy corner of my basement). I am a long time Sprint user and ...

OK phone, Some Call Quailty Complaints
I have this phone on the Sprint network. I am an adult user who mostly uses my phones for voice calls, including many work-related calls. I have been using mostly Sanyos in the past for their dependability and great voice quality, but decided to give the LG Rumor 2 a try. Overall, this phone is decent and works as it should. It feels pretty well made and has a nice overall look and feel. The keyboard is very nice; text ...

for the Sanyo PRO-200:
I
I have had the PRO-200 for several weeks now with no problems. I use it for basic voice calls and texts only. I do not use Direct Connect and in fact disabled DC to save battery life. Build Quality is very good. Quality matte plastics are used and the rubberized back is great. The phone doesn't show fingerprints like so many of today's "sleek" phones. It has a tight, snappy hinge with no side-to-side play in the front flip. The ...

for the Motorola RAZR VE20:
Good Phone
I've had this phone for a few weeks now...so far I like it alot and have not had any problems. I am coming from a Sanyo 8400 (an excellent performing phone) and the VE20 seems to stand up to the high standards set by the 8400. Here are my notes: -Call quality has been very good...conversations are perfectly clear. -The phone has "side tone," where you hear your own voice in the earpiece like you do with a landline. I feel ...

for the Samsung SPH-A640:
I like it
I am happy with the a640. +Good reception (I tested reception against other Sprint phones by entering a Sprint dead zone and checking the point at which they lose the call) +Good call quality. Calls are very clear and natural sounding. Little to no interference or audio drop out. No noticeable degradation in sound in weaker signal areas. Sound is also clear for the person you're talking to. Earpiece volume is plenty loud. Service-wise, Sprint is absolutely the best for clear ...

for the Samsung SGH-D407 / D347:
Many advanced
After being with Sprint for several years, I decided to try Cingular with the D407. Positives: --Software: Robust software gives you lots of customizable options. I disagree with the reviewer who found it too complicated. I find it to be intuitive and its depth keeps the phone from being boring. I’ve found no bugs. --Bluetooth: allows you to wirelessly transfer files (including pictures from the camera) to and from your computer without getting charged for data usage. I had no problem setting ...

for the LG CG225:
Good inexpensive option
Basic, but handsome with very nice call quality. Camera is usable. However, the software lacks customizable options found on many other phones. This phone trades off screen size and resolution for long battery life. Positives: -Build: it is ergonomically comfortable to hold and talk on. Very solid; nothing is creaky, loose, or cheap feeling. -Call Quality: excellent. Incoming call quality is very clear and natural. For the person you are talking to, it is pretty good too. (In the forum ...

for the LG VI-125:
Great simple phone
I am one of the peope who specifically doesn't want a camera, mp3 player, ect on my cell phone. I do however like a nice look and feel to my phone as well as good fundamental function (reception, battery life, etc). This phone is perfect for someone like me. Pros: + Great sound/call quality as well as good range of volumes in the earpiece (this is a relief coming from the screetchy Samsung a620) + Above average batter life + Nice feel/form ...

for the Samsung SPH-A620 / VGA1000:
Pretty Good, Except for beeps
I have had this phone about 2 months. Overall, I am satisfied with this phone. My one major gripe is faint beeps in the ear piece. If it wasn't for that, I would say that this phone is pretty great. PROS: + Reception: Good. Bar meter reacts almost exactly the same as my Hitachi P300 in various locations. Unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to test it in a fringe signal area yet. + ...
