for the Apple iPhone:
An Actual iPhone Owner
My main problem with a phone this hyped is that it they review section seems to be where jealous employees or customers of other carriers vent by unjustifiably giving phones poor review without ever owning a phone. This defeats the entire purpose of having a review section for actual owners w/ first hand experience. With that being said, here is a legit, unbiased review of iPhone. This phone isn't a PDA replacement. It's mainly meant to keep you from ...

for the BlackBerry Curve 8300:

for the Nokia N75:
N75 Just "OK" for Me
I've review a lot of phones on here (see my profile) but I definately own and use the phones prior to reviewing them. I eagerly awaited the arrival of the N75 for nearly 6 months. Upon arrival, I would have been much more pleased with the overall product had it come out 6 months ago when it was first announced. But I'll go ahead and get into my Pros and Cons on the N75 Pros +Symbian UI. Better than Windows Mobile ...

for the BlackBerry 8800:
Blackberry 8800 in Depth
I have used every Cingular Blackberry beginning with the 7290 and this one continues the to "Raise the Bar" much like the Blackberry's that came before it. Pros *Form Factor - This Blackberry is thin. Right in line with the smart phone of today in that aspect *Key Pad - The QWERTY key pad on this blackberry is phenomenal. They keys are close together but raised and angled so that mis-keying is rare and not a problem *Track Ball - Allows ...

for the HTC TyTN / 8525 / JasJam (Hermes):
The TyTn of PDA's!
I work for Cingular and have had this phone for about a month. Traditionally I've always been a Blackberry fan. When the 8125 came out, I jumped on the band wagon and got one, only to revert back to my 8700c. Upon the arrival of the 8525 and it's upgraded skill set, I was absolutely inclined to give it a second look. Pro's *Faster Processor (than 8125) - No more lagging while typing emails or switching between screens. *Scroll Wheel - Makes ...

for the Samsung SYNC SGH-A707:
Well Done Samsung/Cingular
WOW! What else can I really say? This phone is what Cingular's new 3G entries are going to be measured against for a long time. PROS +The QVGA screen on this phone is enormous. It is crystal clear and very, very sharp. +2MP Camera. The camera is smokin' hot, the only better I've seen is the w810i. +UMTS/HSDPA. This phone is fast! Couple 3G with mini opera, and you got the web at your beckon call. +Form Factor. The phone is rather large, yes. ...

for the Samsung SGH-C417 / C416:
Very Average
This phone doesn't do anything that one hasn't seen before. It's meant to be a entry level handset, so I'll review it like one. The reception on this phone is very, very average. Typical GSM Samsung in that regard. In heavy coverage, it performs as it should. In light to moderate coverage, it can be a little flaky but it does the job. The screen is large, however it is not as bright as the d807. The phone does have ...

for the LG CU500:
The Only Relevant Review...
This phone is AS ADVERTISED. The Data speeds on this phone are breath taking. Even on EDGE this phone is still excellent. Reception and call quality on the 3G network is good, however the in-ability to go from 2G to 3G during a voice call can be a little annoying, basically the call drops. The MobiTV, MobiRadio & Cingular Video on this phone is amazing. The LG rep in my market even said it himself "...Vcast has nothing on this." ...

for the BlackBerry 7130c / 7130g:
New 7130c is a GO!!
I've owned my BB 7130c for a few days now and I am an experience BB user (7280, 7290,8700c). I was a reluctant at first to switch to the 7130 because of the sure type keypad, but I must say, the transition was a seamless one. Pros Key Pad - Using the sure type keypad is a a breeze! The phone is able to accurately predict exactly what you're going to type and corrects your punctuation for you. Form Factor - ...

for the Samsung SGH-D807 / D806:
Finally a GOOD GSM Samsung!!
This is a very good GSM phone with all the fixens. The phone looks fantastic on the outside. The chrome trim around the screen makes the phone stand out and look more expensive than what it is. It is extremely thin and will fit in any pocket. Keypad is low key, yet easy to hit. And the phone gets even better when you get beyond the shallowness of just looks. The screen on this phone ...

for the Samsung SGH-ZX10:
ZX10 < CU320
My overall impression of the initial Cingular 3G phones (I own the Samsung ZX-10 as well as the LG CU320 in Was/Bal), is that the CU320 is the better phone in more ways than one. After a weeks work of usage with each phone I'm going to compare how one ranks next to the other... Battery Life - CU320 lasts about 2 days on normal usage w/ BT enabled and in use. The ZX-10 gives you about a day and ...

for the Nokia 6061:
USER ERROR...
Alot of the reviews on this post mention poor volume or sound quality issues. Just as an FYI you can control the volume by simply pressing the D-pad to the right durring a phone call to turn it up, and left to turn it down. Read your instruction manual and get over it...

for the Nokia 6030:
Excellent Work Nokia... Next Stop, BLUETOOTH
I must say, this is an awesome little phone. For a phone as inexpensive as this one, I haven't had this much bang for the book since.... ever. This phone handles all of the daily chores of any other entry level phone, but Nokia style. Anyone who has ever owned a Nokia, know what I'm talking about. The reception on this thing is outstanding, the screen is very crisp, and the voice quality is as good as I've had. ...

for the Motorola MPx220:
Corrections...
Just to make a few things clear, there is no insurance for the MPx220 from Cingular. Cingular does not offer insurance on any data/smart phones/pda's ect. The only phone that resembles a smart phone that Cingular does offer insurance on in the Nokia 6682. And comming from a 4 mo. user of this phone, I can say with confidence that this phone is absolutely a piece of junk. This phone was pushed back 3 times in a year back ...

for the Sony Ericsson Z520 / Z525:
Very Very Pleased
This phone has everything that one should expect to get out of a mid range camera phone. Read the specs *Bluetooth *VGA camera w/ video *Speakerphone *MP3 ringtone capeable *Quad Band GSM On top of all of these awsome features, this phone has 16 MB of memory. Compared to is closest rival (on Cingular) the moto v551's 5 MB, the 16 MB on the z520 is excellent. The only cons about this phone that I have are nit-pickey ones. *no MegaPixel camera *no EDGE But for ...

for the Motorola V635:
Very Good Moto
First off I am a Cingular dealer and have dealt with alot of Motos. This is one of the most feature rich phones that I have owned to this point. the v635 posseses all of the features that make certain phones a "must have". Pros 262K display.. Crisp! Reception... Second only to the Razr Speaker... Awsome Bluetooth... 1.3mp Cam & Video Micro SD Memomry slot... Thankyou Motogod... Cons Has the same problems other Motos that I've used have... The phone resets itself every so often. This is ...

for the Nokia 6230:
Almost Doesn't Count...
The nokia 6230 is pound for pound one of the most solid phones available. Recepition on Cingualar in the Was/Bal area is amazing. The amount of features packed into this tiny phone is also, Amazing. And overal the fact that feature on this phone works perfectly is absolutely AMAZING! I never expect a phone that does video, bluetooth, mp3, edge ect. to be effective in all areas but the 6230 does just that. However there is one question I ...

for the Sony Ericsson S710a:
Masterpiece!
Working in the wireless industry I am rarely impressed by cell phones. However, I do sometimes come across a phone that knocks my socks off. Lets start with whats truely important, reception and call quality. There is no Cingular phone better in the Was/Bal market than the s710a. The reception is absolutley awsome and so is the clarity of every conversation. The s710a fits in the hand almost like a home phone which makes it very comfortable to hold ...

for the Motorola V220:
What More Can I Say?
I work for ATT/Cingular and have had the unpleasent experience being allowed to demo the Motorola v220. I own a motorola v551 and let me tell you, this is no v551. First the pros; Excellent reception, battery life, features (camera, speaker, Q-band, Mp3), and very low cost ($179.99 retail, $29.99 2-year). And now with the long list of cons; The sorriest color screen I have ever seen on a 65k cell phone. The screen is about as large as ...

for the Motorola V551 / V330 / V547 / V555 / V557:
I Knew Motorola Could Do It...
This is one of the best handsets that I have ever owned. I am an employee of the wireless industry so I have had my fair share of phones. The Motorola V551 is by far the best phone that I have ever owned. My reception is very good (Cingular Wireless / Baltimore-Washington), battery life is excellent, and a boat load of great features. This is the Motorola non-smart phone to which all others should be measured. pros * Large, Sharp Color ...
