for the Nokia 3100 / 3120:Bad Phone or Bad Service, not sure which.
The Nokia VX3120 is a poor replacement for my good old brick of a phone, the Sanyo 4900. I think I was spoiled. Pros: Small and cute. Easy menu. Cons: Sounds very toyish, like an old AM radio. Cannot change reminder tone, or set individual ringers for incoming calls. Battery life is average but drains abruptly. It may just be the service in my area, but the signal is poor and cuts out, repeatedly. I would advise anyone living in Garland, near Firewheel ...
