I decided to write a review of the Bold AFTER I tested out the Storm for a few days. For BlackBerry "power users" this device blows the Storm away. Honestly, I prefer VZW over AT&T but the UMTS/EVDO coverage in my area is nearly identical between the two which takes carrier vs. carrier out of the equation. Pros: - Best BB to date... I really wanted to love this device but I just can't. Like I previous reviewer said, I can't believe this is the final release of the Storm. Seems more like a pre-production model. Just got mine VIA FedEx overnight shipping and can definitely say that I am satisfied. I mean, sure, it has been out through other carriers for a year but none of the other carriers' service can match VZW where I live. I tried at&t's for a month. Loved the device, hated the service. Considering all factors, this is the best device and by far the best Blackberry I have owned during the 7 years I have had VZW. And I have owned more phones than I care to admit! I am an official Crackberry head. I used to have an 8703e with Verizon and when my contract ended I swtiched to at&t to get the Curve and couldn't be more happy. At&t and VZW have the same coverage in my area so I haven't noticed any difference in reception, dropped calls, etc. Even though the EVDO on VZW was faster that EDGE on at&t, for what I use my Berry for the difference is negligible. Overall I would give this device a 5.0 when comparing it to what is available through Verizon Wireless at the current time. I had two different Treo 700w devices and had nothing but bad luck with them (constantly needed to be reset, froze a lot, slowed down with added data).
