Hate it.
I'll start with the things I like about the phone before getting to why you shouldn't buy it. It's fast, a nice size, feels solidly built, awesome screen, good sound quality, has MicroSD expansion. Camera is pretty good. Beautiful design. That's only a brief of the good, because the bad far outweighs it. The biggest issue, by far, is the devices poor quality. I feel it's a flawed design in general. I'm on number 5 of these in the past ...
Very Good
I have the Nokia 6170b, which is the 850/1900 MHz version for the US. The first thing is that the US version is not triband, or at least, the box and manual claim otherwise (they claim only dual band American frequencies). Also, there is no email client in the US version (or they forgot it on mine) and I have seen nothing about PTT either. With both the email client and PTT the Nokia USA website says nothing. Those ...
Well beyond expectations
I am very impressed. I formally had the Samsung S105 with service from T-Mobile. I decided to leave T-Mobile when I lost signal in my home and they gave me no explanation as to why. I have had very good experiences with Samsung phones in the past but only ok ones ...
Great phone
This phone is excellent. I previously had the Samsung S105. While the S105 is a very good phone, I feel that the 6610 is better. The screen is not as big as on the S105, but it is easier to read, especially in direct light. The screen can use an outside light source (I think this is referred to as trans-reflective, but I can't guarantee that). It would seem to have a considerably faster processor than the S105; ...
Samsung S105
The Samsung S105 is an amazing phone. I was debating between the S105 and the Motorola T720 (GSM). If the GSM T720 has the same screen, interface, etc as the CDMA version, I’m glad I got the S105. The T720s screen is dull and dark, even with the backlight on. It‘s also heavy and the interface less refined. The S105s screen is excellent. It’s bright and clear with good color saturation. I was showing my S105 to a friend ...
