for the Samsung Galaxy S II / SGH-T989:
Despite the S3 now on shelves, the S2 is still a contender.
I will admit I had a bad taste in my mouth when the S3 released two months after buying my Galaxy S2. I was long overdue for an upgrade as I was still packing a BlackBerry Bold 9700 (which was really giving me problems due to memory issues). It was time to retire the old 'Berry... Pros... for the Samsung Dart:
Great budget phone or for use as a backup.
Pros: Decent build quality. No having to remove the rear cover to get to the MicroSD card. Decent call quality over the earpiece and speakerphone. Great music player with some features only found in far more expensive phones. SMS/MMS themes in the messaging app. Custom font features from the system menu. Cons: Very small screen which makes typing rather difficult. Limited internal application storage. Limited to 3G, but holds on quite well. Annoying hatch for the USB cable/charger.
