for the LG G4 (GSM):A reasonable upgrade from G3
Good: B12 LTE with VoLTE Clear screen and it looks better than G3 Speaker is loud and balanced Removable battery microSD (currently I am using 128GB) Backside operation Tap to wake G3 screen protector can be used on G4 Bad: It can be very hot sometimes Touch sensitivity (except you have 10n update) Bloat can hinder the operation (but you can root it to remove) If you're with T-Mobile, upgrading from G3 to G4 makes more sense because it has B12 LTE. Battery is similar with G3. "Halo effect" is gone on G4

for the Samsung Behold II:the phone is totally different after flashing with custom ROM
First of all, I agree with other posters that the branding ruined.the great software, but some developed custom ROM saved the phone. Pro: grogeous AMOLED screen, LOTS of RAM, good camera, 3.5 jack, can be easily tethered with Kies suite, good calling quality. Con: bad software, typing can be difficult, cube button is useless. Fortunately, some developers at androidforums made some good custom ROMs, which can save the phone. I give 2 stars with original software: 4 stars with right custom software.

I think I seldom to recommend branded phone this one is an exception, a big exception. The phone itself is very expensive, probably the most expensive after BB 88xx and 8900. Voice: it's fantastic, no matter through earpiece, a headphone plugged in HTC 3.5 headset adapter, or bluetooth, both earpiece and mic are exceptionally good, the noise cancelling is also good, the friend on the other side even didn't notice I was watching TV when talking. for the Nokia 6263:a great phone after de-branded
this one is 2nd unit though I liked the first unit, some quirk made me not happy but the second unit (fw version 5.20, and de-branded) is a lot better reception remains the same, still needs 3 bars to maintain decent speed, but 3G icon is there*, as well as E icon* I don't have earpiece problem as other mentioned, it's loud and clear, though I use bt headset most of the time, and I can even play music over it (poor quality ...

got the phone today after some simple setup, found the phone is very good I was concerned about internet because the display units don't work, but the one I bought works perfectly, t-zones, streaming, Google Maps, tethering the reception is very good, at least on par with K790a on 2G part earpiece is kinda weak, but this is common problem on SE phones, be prepared with it, as well as speakerphone media player uses new PSP-like platform, just be aware of that, this phone ...

for the Nokia 3555:a decent UMTS phone for tethering
I bought this phone after checking FCC documentation 6263 seems to have better spec, except.....3G reception, I often unable to make internet connection even it has 2 bars after checking the FCC documentation, I found 6263 has poor 3G reception, I didn't notice that before 3G went active in NYC everything is pretty basic, but the root part works pretty well, on both 2G and 3G voice is better than 6263, as well as reception but this phone is not good as music player, ...

for the Sony Ericsson W580 / S500:decent slider, with kinda cheap built
I have S500i, basically like W580i in many ways the phone is pretty thin, about 2/3 thickness as 6263 closed I like slider form factor, that the keys locked when the phone retracted, this is pretty easy, but you can't hang up when you retract the phone except you set it the LCD is bright, but doesn't show standby clock-a minus cam is OK as it doesn't have AF, no lighting-another minus the reception is good, but still nowhere near W300i and N73, about ...

for the Sony Ericsson K550 / W610:a successor of W810?

for the Sony Ericsson W810:good phone, but avoid Cingular version

for the Nokia 6270:pretty nice phone, but overpriced for S40

for the Sony Ericsson T637:works pretty well with T-Mobile
