for the Samsung Juke U470:
The Juke - for kids only
Good phone for a 5 year old. Mediocre mp3 player and oh yeah, it's a phone. Tiny screen. Verizon must be kidding with this thing.

for the Samsung SGH-T519 Trace:
Samsung SGH-T519 - FELT FLIMSY
I went to my local T-Mobile store with every intention of buying the new bar style Samsung, T519. Upon closer inspection, I noticed a small loosely fitting circular cover on the back of the phone that could easily be removed with the flick of my nail. It fell off into my hand with just about no effort. The T-Mobile seller brought out 4 different Samsungs, all with the same issue. As I sat there in the store, ...

for the Motorola RAZR V3m:
RAZR as music player, etc.
Can someone please explain to me why ANYONE would want to use up their phone's battery life so that they can listen to music? It's a phone! You talk to people on it. Anyone who's owned one realizes that the RAZR is delicate and the battery life isn't worth writing home about. So I find it laughable that people would be so dim witted as to use their phone as a music player at the gym. ...

for the HTC SDA (USA) / SP5m (Tornado):
SDA-HTC Tornado - Good little phone
Traded up for it yesterday and so far: PROS: User friendly Reception is great, 3-4 bars everywhere Call clarity really good Nice large screen Form factor a huge plus - love the bar style Looks, size & weight - perfect, no issues Camera - good pix Menu options relatively clear/easy Battery-heard it's good, will wait and see CONS: Buttons are very small What? No T-Zones without the data plan? No downloads? Mini SD card BEHIND battery Have not hooked it up to computer yet, will alert to design bugs if any in the ...

for the Samsung SGH-T609:
T-609 - Lightweight, easy to use, but...
Picked up this phone yesterday after my RAZR began having technical issues. The store rep extolled the virtues of it and her points were valid. PROS: Speaker Independent Voice Dialing! Speaker phone is loud Screen resolution Camera takes great pix and video Form factor Looks - I like the white Bluetooth Reception CONS: Feels like a breakable plastic toy in your hand Small - people with bigger hands may have trouble dialing My fingers feel a little cramped when dialing with one hand Feels like it could break easily Some slight hissing ...

for the Motorola RAZR V3:
RAZR V3 - hard to get around
Just got this phone as a replacement with T-Mobile. Was with the Samsung T-509 but decided to "trade up" to the RAZR. Hmmmm. Menu options leave a lot to be desired I feel like I have to be a phone techie to get around everything Deleting a contact took a call to T-Mobile support Entering a contact may take the same maneuver as if you don't put in an email address it won't save the contact?! Phone is big and not really ...

for the Pantech CDM-180 / PN-218:
Verizon Sux - I left and have never been happier
Just take a look at this phone because it's the typical Verizon product. Of course it's a flip, of course it's cheap and further, it's poorly designed. A prior poster said not to get it because his the phone sucked and his friends were laughing at him a lot. Any carrier that would put out a midget-flip phone deserves the reviews they get. I left Verizon specifically because of their products - same tired old ...

for the Samsung SGH-T509:
T-509, Ok, but just got it
Picked up the T-509 last night and it seems ok, so far, but... Pros: Looks, screen, size of buttons, volume, maneuverability, form factor Cons: Reception - not sure about this yet, ringtones, screen savers are basically non-existent, no "tip" calculator, no indicator light to tell you when it's fully charged. It does seem to have reception problems, when I set up my voicemail, some of the words dropped out. It doesn't seem to have as many features as I ...

for the LG VX-6100:
LG VX6100
I bought this phone from Verizon Wireless last week and I love it. No problems, no issues, just enjoy having a phone that is both serious and fun. PROS: Reception, phone book capacity (500), speaker phone, call clarity, ease of use, color screen, camera are all A+. CONS: Ring tones and wallpaper (not enough of either). If you are shopping for a new phone, make sure you take the time to check this one out. You will not be disappointed.

for the Nokia 6360:
Love my 6360, but...
I've owned the Nokia 6360 for two years now and absolutely love it. The expansive phone book and truly amazing battery life have kept me hooked. The only real drawback to this phone is the fact that the screen goes dark after about 10 seconds and the volume could have more range. Aside from those two issues I would highly recommend the 6360 to anyone who needs a serious phone.
