for the Motorola E815 / E816 Hollywood:
Good but still some issues
This review is based on PHONE functions. I don't care about games or surfing the Web, and I haven't used bluetooth yet. BIGGEST PRO: Voice recognition--Thankfully Motoroal is back to one simple step (Call "name," instead of 2 or 3 steps). Recognizes most words/names. Also, other voice commands, especially "send text to," are very useful and accurate. for the LG VX-7000:
Could be better (as a PHONE)!
Returned the Motorla 710 and tried this. Still have it, but not all that happy. As a phone, it fails in a couple key areas (and that's pretty significant since it is, afterall, a PHONE). Pros: -Voice dial (flawless) -Main display (looks great) -User friendly -Earpiece volume great (are you listening, MOTOROLA?!) -Ringer volume good Neutral: -Ringers OK -Camera is fine for a phone -Battery life OK CONS: -Occasional dropped calls (had virtually none with my last Motorola) -stub antenna (average reception) -Have to wait 2-3 seconds after opening flip before ...
