for the Motorola Moto G4:
Well worth the money
This is a very good phone. Not state of the art, but good enough for most people. So this is a very good phone that is an excellent value. The Amazon add version is a bargain, and the adds are not intrusive. If you are a prime member having the video app pre installed without the need to get it (it's not on the play store) is actually a plus. ...

for the Motorola Droid Maxx:
Beware of the screen
After a year with the Droid Razr Maxx I was just about to upgrade to this phone. Spent some time with it today at the Verizon store, along with its lesser battery life twin Droid. Since these phones are on most all the time, with some logos, I noticed that the screens have a burn in issue like CRTs and Plasmas of days past. When you look at a photo or anything with a light colored ...

for the Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX HD:
Very good phone
Coming off a Galaxy S III, which is a good phone... Pros: This phone has excellent battery life. Interface is really nice. Supports group texting Charges fast Speech to text works very well Phone is responsive Non replaceable battery makes phone feel really solid. It is a "real" international phone (the Samsung will not receive data or MMS overseas with a non-verizon SIM.) Cons: Screen is not as bright as the Galaxy Phone does not always enable inks in texts and emails. And it is sometimes impossible to select ...

for the Samsung Galaxy S III (Verizon):
They blocked GSM Data with local SIM cards!
Update Jan 25 2013 After waiting half a year since the launch of this "Soon to be International" phone finally last month the update comes out. It allows GSM and you can use other phone SIM cards, HOWEVER verizon locked the APN in the firmware so DATA won't work unless you use the Verizon SIM! They removed the ability to change the APN so no DATA unless you use a Verizon SIM, which means ...

for the Samsung Galaxy S III (CDMA):
Nice screen etc, but missing some things
This phone is great looking and works well. Screen, camera software all very good. However, the Sprint version has no SIM slot so you can't get a card when traveling outside of the US like the other carriers who have the SIM Card slot. The Verizon phone is LTE and CDMA and they have a SIM slot and will offer GSM overseas use. Also it would be nice if they put a micro HDMI port on these, so you ...

for the Motorola XPRT:
Good keyboard phone +international
Picked this up two days ago. Replaced a HTC Hero. Before that a Palm Centro. Pros: Better battery life than Hero, good for an Android phone, lasts all day with lots of fooling around. Smaller size than the 4" screen phones Integrated keyboard form factor like Treo or BB Screen resolution is fine for a screen this size. Much faster than Hero more stable too GSM radio with UTMS (3G data) for international use. Comes with a sprint SIM so you ...

for the LG VX-8300:
Very good phone, MP3 good, outside display not so good
I have had many, many phones. This phone replaced a Motorola E815. It is mostly an improvement. Pros- Voice is good, volume and clarity Speaker phone is works very well! (except you cant use it with the phone closed). Reception seems excellent, no dropped calls in 4 weeks, including calls that lasted 30 minutes traveling on the freeway. Navigation is good once the menus are customized MP3 function works well (out of the box no modification is needed to play mp3 files). ...

for the NEC 525:
Not very well though out
I currently use a Sanyo VM 4500 (sprint CDMA) and am evaluating AT&T GSM and some GSM phones for my employer. Pros: Flip Design Caller ID on outside display Ability to globaly set (and change) sending caller id) Nice Internal display (large). No external antenna Standard headset jack easy control of volume during a call Quad band so it will work on any GSM system world wide (If you don't mind paying a fortune in Roaming rates internationally). Cons: Phone Operating system crashed twice in 8 hours, ...
