Background to my review I have used the Sanyo 5500, Toshiba 4050, Sanyo 8200, Treo 600, Nokia 6225, Sanyo 8300, Sanyo 5600, Treo 650, Samsung a800, Sanyo 7400 and the Samsung a940 in the last two years. Okay here I go again buying another phone...Background I have used the 5500, 4050, 8200, Treo 600, Nokia 6225 and the Sanyo 7400 in the last year. Screen: I love the screen. for the Sanyo SCP-5500 / VM-4500:Sprint + Sanyo= Winning Combination
As a Sprint manager, I have a love for phones. I have owed them all Ill admit. The Sanyo 5500 was my dream phone, every feature I wanted except for a built in alarm, and the quality and proven reliability from Sanyo. No DOUBT THIS IS THE BEST NON PDA PHONE OUT RIGHT NOW FOR SPRINT. This phone is worth every penny- remember you get what you pay for!!!

for the Sanyo SCP-5300:IM BACK TO THE SANYO.....
I had the 5150 for awhile and because the Samsung a500 was hyped so much I bought into it. I was happy for 3 months. Then I began to have problems with reception. I waited the storm out until the Sanyo 5300 was released. I have to say this phone is hard (as teenagers say). I love this phone. The screen is bright and the graphics just jump out at you. for the Samsung SPH-A500:The Search is Over!!!!!!!!!!
I am truly impressed with the a500. I LOVE the TFT screen and the external display. THE SCREEN IS LIKE LOOKING INTO A PC'S MONITOR. The calls are crisp and clean sounding. The reception is about the same as my Sanyo 5150-I dropped one call since I had it and that was in Walmart where my 5150 dropped also.
