for the HTC myTouch 3G / Magic:myTouch 3G 1.2
Great phone! It's a big step up if you want to get something with a headphone jack included and better battery life vs. G1. Pros: -Great Screen -Feels great in hand -3.5 mm headphone jack with optimized music player -Great looking device -Android Market -Better Battery -Swype keyboard preloaded -Includes a 8GB SD card Cons: -No Camera button -Swype (depending on whether or not you like it, I don't) I recommend this for users who need a headphone jack included if you have G1. I also recommend it for fun factor.

for the HTC G1:Awesome with some Drawbacks
I have a G1 now, and love it! I will probably go back to using this even after I upgrade to my next Android device. (That's right - I'm sold on Android) Let's talk pros and cons. Pros: -Great touchscreen (I text using the virtual keyboard on it most times now) and features. -Free apps, and paid ones as well. -Extra features and speed with Root. -Fun! -Slide-out QWERTY. -Accelerometer -Synced with GMail -Google apps Cons: -Battery -No headphone jack (3.5mm) -Battery -Battery -Battery All in all good phone if you're not using this for ...

for the LG Lotus:This phone was great a year ago
My girlfriend has this phone and all she does is tell me how slow, how awful, and inconvenient it is. Pros: -Compact -Cool design -QWERTY Cons: -Issues with colors and resolution -complicated UI -Sloooooooow With the phones that are out now, it would be a mistake to get this bad boy, even if the price is low.
