for the Samsung Fascinate / Mesmerize (Galaxy S):
My first smartphone
The Mesmerize was my very first smartphone, and for the time, it was absolutely excellent. Frequently got consistent signal even in the all-metal factory where I worked. Camera was excellent for the time and the battery was enough to last me an entire shift at work.

for the Samsung Galaxy S II, Epic 4G Touch:
Excellent phone for the price
I carried the Galaxy S2 Epic 4G Touch for nearly two years, and while it showed its age towards the end, as any handset is wont to do, for most of my time with it, it was a sleek, reliable handset with average battery life and a camera good enough for me to capture lovely images on my walks.

For not being a smart phone, it nevertheless handles Internet use very well, and I'm able to easily keep up with my social networking while on the go. The design is eye-catching and fun; the mp3 player sounds great and the camera is solid at 2.0 megapixels. My only complaint is the size of the keyboard. Due to the fact that the phone is so rounded along the top and bottom edges, ...

for the Samsung Gloss SCH-U440:
Solid little phone
My only regret when I switched over from U.S. Cellular to Sprint was having to give up this phone. As someone who was fairly new to the world of cell phones, I purchased the Samsung Gloss because I wanted a solid low-cost messaging phone with a nice QWERTY keyboard. That's exactly what I got with the Gloss. The camera isn't great and the phone has a 2.5mm headphone jack rather than the more universal 3.5mm, but as I didn't buy ...
