Thin and Compact!
Looking for a messaging device but don't really want to have data or internet? Pantech Link will get the job done. Pros: Very Thin Design Raised keyboard for easy texting Nice Menu Layout Easy to use Rugged exterior Chrome trim for a nice look Cons: Low end Camera Mid-level resolution screen At only $10 after rebate, its a great upgrade for the texting population and don't necessarily want to jump into a data plan yet. However, the Link like most phones has that capability.

Bang for your buck
Pros: Large Screen Great Reception Inexpensive (19.99) Full Keyboard 2Meg Cam Cons: Feels a little cheap compared to others Keyboard isnt man hands approved If you want a phone for texting, a little facebook, little web, this is a great fit for the price. At 20 bucks, why not

Pros: Texting a breeze Comfortable size (as opposed to the diesel LX) Ability to Customize thru inexpensive shells (outer cover) Loud Speaker Phone Decent Web Browser Good Camera along with Video for the first time Tons of applications in the download catalog (expensive though) Cons: Battery Life is pretty poor No WiFi feature Blocks free ringtone sites forcing to purchase in the download catalog No Camera or video external button (which a lot of people might like, not me tho) In-call has echo effect every once in a while which ...

for the LG Wave AX-380 / UX-380:
Gets it done
For what it is, I'm pretty satisfied for how it performs. Its fairly durable, loud as can be, and it looks attractive. Pros: Very loud Picture quality Decent camera Affordable Attractive (for what it is) Video capability (sub par quality) Battery Life Music Player capability Blue tooth Cons: Limited features Slow Internet Weak Vibration Pretty basic *I'm all about the stacked phones in BBPearl or the iPhone, this has been just holding me over and it does well.
