for the LG Clout:well built flip phone
upgraded from a vx8350 to the Clout. All the same features that were perfect for me, plus a little better well built and some additional features. Perfect successor to the 8350 and 8360 PROS: -external music player controls. A "must-have" for me, as i use my phone as a music player in the car. Sounds great pumped through the car stereo -a "button lockout" feature that can be disabled. -1 hour of recording video external memory ...

for the LG VX-8350:Very good basic phone
I needed a basic phone with an MP3 player that had controls on the front cover, and didn't have the shiny/chrome-y finish I saw on other phones. This was the only unit in the Verizon store that met these requirements. PROS -Call sound quality is good. -MP3 player with one-touch activation and basic player controls on the front cover and screen, so you don't need to keep it open to play/pause/skip through songs. -Camera and video capture work well for basic use. ...
