for the HTC Nexus One:
Awesome phone
I new to this smart phone arena, but I decided to go with the Nexus One with T-Mobile. Call quality is great, and no dropped calls. I haven't had the 3G to EDGE to 3G switching issue that people have been talking about. I wanted something that I can customize to the maximum, and this phone allows you to do that. You can load any custom ROM, rooted apps, whatever. Plus you got the android market (which only keeps ...

for the Nokia 2610:
Excellent no-frills phone
This phone is perfect for those who JUST want a phone. It doesnt have the fancy bluetooth stereo (or bluetooth for that matter), microSD, camera or video or nothing. It's a basic phone that lets you talk, text message and web browsing (at GPRS Speed, which limits it to basic wap sites). Also, since its not fancy and stuff, the battery lasts longer (upto 10 days standby), and it also has profiles and stuff. The only problem is that ...

for the Motorola ROKR E8:
Not bad actually
I've experimented with this phone. And so far... PROS - Sharp Display - Nice Interface - Java OS is unmodified (except for a T-Zones Shortcut) - FM Radio - 2GB Capacity (AND a microSD slot) - Stereo bluetooth (this seems to be commonplace, but alien to Apple iPhone 3G) - Keys change depending on Phone mode or Music mode (or Camera Mode) - Side lock key (instead of Menu+star) - There is this thing called song ID where it listens ...

for the Sanyo Katana II:
Very good for a basic phone
This phone is not fancy in it's features, but when it comes to having a phone, it does the job. It does not have a megapixel camera, no music player, no video camera (moddable?), no EV-DO (so no Sprint TV, which already sucks). However, the call quality is good, it can send text messages, and has Hands-free bluetooth. Also, this phone works with Bitpim.

for the Sanyo Katana DLX:
Good Phone (not THE BEST)
This is a good phone. Has a bunch of good options. My first choice was the M610 but they pulled it out two weeks before my contract renewal. Also, the price of this phone has gone down 50 bucks since I bought it. PROS: -Clear calls (even with one or two bars) -Good camera -Fast interface (compared to my old LG pm-225) -Bluetooth (w/ full features such as OBEX, OPP, HSP, and A2DP) -SD Card -Music Player (it has its own native music player, of sorts) -Native ...
