for the Sharp Sidekick iD:Sidekick ID is a great alt. option
First off, there are a lot of people bashing this phone for what it doesn't have. The phone was not meant for people who want a camera, mp3 player, memory card, etc. It's the alternative for someone who wants a great messaging device.
