Thanks for replying. Yes, I did manage to find bitpim and for the most part it works very well. I've been able to d/l photos from cell to pc with only a couple of problems, but the last couple of times it's been more reliable. On a couple of ocasions, it failed to detect my phone, but all in all it's been very good. Thanks again.

I upgraded recently to the katana phone with Qwest. I'd read of downloading data from cell to PC so I ordered a product(usb cable & software) only to find that the product was apparently carrier specific and guess what? It only worked with Sprint. Of course I have the option of paying $15 per month to upload photos to a site, but I'd like to know if I'm truly dead in the water on this. I've read of freeware ...
