I'm sure the reps go over the basic features and functions of the device, but I'm sure each rep doesn't give them step by step from start to finish on many of the features and applications, this program will do that. This is great for Sprint's customer service effort.

Ummm, correct me if I'm wrong, but did you not say when you called to complain about your service and cancel they offered you a FREE Airrave, and I'm sure they were willing to comp the monthly fee as well. Did you not say your issue was poor service? Sounds like you were offered a very fair solution. If you don't like that than nothing will please you and you deserve to be slapped with a 400.00 ETF. all people on here are saying is that they feel cheated having to pay extra to compensate for poor service, but nobody has mentioned the unlimited calling. You could get the 39.99 450 powerpack plan and pay the 10.00 and you have yourself a 59.99 unlimited plan. Granted that is only when you are in range of your airrave, but I think that is well worth the 100.00 and the 10.00 per month if you break it down.

I know we're all too busy bashing Sprint as usual to actually think about the story here, but if it can end up being lest costly to lease the towers, than to build, maintain, and have whole departments set up for maintenance than is this really such a bad idea? It's not like this is something new...

this device will use AGPS, this service uses data connections and cell towers to triangulate the devices location, it also uses satellite when the connection is best, the same type of GPS that was developed for the Instinct.

Ummm, I work in Sprint Employee Care, my job is to assist our 60,000 employees with their FREE phone services, and I talk to "techs" and the "big dawgs" personal assistants all day, and I think you know that saying Sprint dropped it's own service for Verizon is an outright lie! Why on God's green earth would we pay for something we provide? Also, I wish everybody would stop driving the whole customer service line into the ground, the ...

Yup, I work in NSS (national sales support) and we actually received an email stating the sales brochures were incorrect as far as the expiration date for those plans go and that they will be removed from all sales locations and replaced with new brochures. Also, we have had training on the Instinct specifically and you DO have to have the Simply Everything Plans to purchase the phone. Initially the phone will only be offered to existing customers. It's basically the same on most Sprint CDMA handsets. To open the programming menu you press ##, the six digit MSL (master subsidy lock), #...and for advanced settings you enter ##3282#, and it may ask you for the MSL at some point depending on what sub menu you access.

Yah we'll see...there will still be customers who are currently getting a discount, ask for the new plan, and the rep either forgets or is too lazy to remove the discount. I see SERO accounts all day that still get their business discount.

I understand and that wasn't directed toward you personally, more of a vent, and my personal opinion of cheapskates and people that want everything for free doesn't reflect on any way the customer service I give or the customer service Sprint gives as a company. I am proud to work for Sprint, I am a care rep., and I am proud of the outstanding service I give every customer I speak with " No sir, I do apologize but ...

Re: New Plan vs. SERO?
Feb 29, 2008, 8:09 AM
in the Article: Sprint Offers 'Unlimited Everything' for $99 forum

Hmmm...perhaps it's not supposed to compare with SERO, SERO is a referral offer, it's not for the mainstream customer. Actually, from my experience I have found that SERO is for cheapskates that Customer Care doesn't want to deal with so they transfer them to us in Employee Care, even though SERO users aren't employees (paying attention regular care reps, NOT EMPLOYEES!!!) and the only question I seem to get, usually from someone obviously foreign, is "oh, can I am ...

Well, 1st it's not Airwave it Airave, and yes it is the basically the same premise, you pay an extra 10 dollars a month as an attachable option onto your plan and like you pointed out it does boost full signal both voice and data up to 5000 sq. ft. in your home, in addition to that as long as you are routed through your Airave you get unlimited calling that does not pull from your regular plan...I ...
