Just one less thing...
That differentiates Sprint from everyone else. Just a matter of time before they fully jump in the same mold as AT&T and Verizon.
Sad...
Hardware was webOS's doom. If the pre hadn't of been such a POS from the hardware perspective, it really could have done quite well and not have scared every developer off, IMO.

I would wait...
Motorola has never really had a good track history of making CDMA phones for Sprint. Hence the long hiatus from...

Well lets get the facts straight on the plans.
This is right from Attwireless.com
$39.99 for 450 Anytime minutes N&W@9PM to 6AM
$25.00 for Iphone Data
$20.00 for Unlimited Txt
$9.99 for AT&T Navigator
=$94.98
Sprint
$69.99 for:
450 minutes to landlines N&W 7 to 7
Unlimited M2M to ANY carrier
Unlimited TXT
Unlimited Web
Unlimited Navigation
$10.00 for Premium Evo Content(not a fan of this charge, just displaying here for facts)
$7.00 for insurance/Equip Service and Repair
=$86.99
Difference is 8.99.The things that makes my choice in the long run are the bundled plans and the Anymobile Anytime. Honestly, who calls landlines anymore ...
Thats fine.
Just dont come into the store when you want ready now or when Telesales screws up something like they usually do.
Re: Where was this "FCC" during the VZW-Alltel merger?
I was just going to mention the Sprint Nextel merger(#3 and #5 ranked carriers at the time I believe). The FCC is a joke.
This kind of does make sense for GSM carriers.
Seeing as how it is much easier to buy a ATT phone, break the contract, and sell the phone elsewhere for a potential profit(referring to a GSM global market).
In comparison, CDMA phones are usually locked to the specific carriers, unless you go to metroPCS. But again, the phone is now locked on to their system.
Now I realize there are people that have the skill to be able to unlock and hack equipment and things of that nature. I ...
Re: Sprint store>Best Buy, Radioshack, etc.
Well, fellow employees, you simply have to have the stones to tell these customers that ready now is reserved for customers that purchase their phones in store. I don't mind answering a quick question. But ready now? No way.
Re: New Evo 4G not so hot!
2.5 GHZ
The Good: Fast speeds, higher capacity
The Bad: Doesn't penetrate buildings and structures that well :(

$100 Port-In Credit per line for Customers porting in from AT&T.
Any questions?
As an employee, I specifically remember that promotion only being for business customers that are porting numbers to 4g devices. Unless they have some awesome promotion for business reps, you should verify that with the rep who sold you the phone. Just looking out for a brand new customer. Welcome to Sprint by the way :)
Re: Is it in Sprint stores today or just online?
Its going to begin shipping to stores today. So expect store to have them next week :-)...
Got this Phone Today
Received this phone at my store. Its a slick looking phone. The only real negative about it is that it uses the same jack for both the headphones and the charger. So you cant charge it and listen to music. Its dissapointing because that should have been an improvement over the Upstage and I believe the M510 as well.
As long as it has better luck than other Sprint sliders before(LG 325, Samsung A800), it should be fine. Great ...
Re: Is this true?
I actually was referring to the idiotic reply that VZW Guru posted. Dont get your panties in a ruffle. :D
Re: Unlocking NEXTEL phones
Yes they do work in mexico cause Ive done it.
And they are unlocked. Kinda.
You can use a Boost prepaid SIM in a Nextel but you do have to have your Boost phone unlocked to use a Nextel SIM in your phone. 8O

Its actaully called a dead line. How else do you expect us to hit quota? The #1 Rep in Sprint worked in our district and pretty much invented this as far as I know. 300 acts a month average by himself. He was a %($& who was very shady and did this all the time. I do but I explain the whole process and make sure the customer knows what they are getting into.
And by the way I ...
Re: Hope
I stand corrected. 8)
Re: Hope
One of the main issues its supposed to address is the loudness issues of the katana. Ringtones were extremely hard to hear on the katana. Also it having EVDO and a 1.3MP camera will also be great.
I hope this will blast the RAZR out of the water 8O
Re: Titan PPC 6800?
Coming out in April or May. Got to hold one this morning. I almost started crying. Absolutely amazing phone.
Re: PPC-6800 Postponed
Got to hold one today. I love this phone.
Re: dropped call credits
I find these ads funny seeing that GSM inheritly will have more dropped calls due to hard handoffs on thier network.
Re: dropped call credits
...and wait 45 min to be transfered 3 times.
Re: verizon losing towers?
Well,
If your in northern cali, I mean anything from santa rosa up and sacramento up, It will be intresting. In mendocino county and up, Verizon has such horrible coverage I dont even know if you will tell the diffrence. In sac, yolo, humbolt and up to redding, I dont think you will tell the diffrence either. Possibly when you leave redding and heads towards oregon.
Re: Ready Link, the perfect example
Well,
I wouldnt think they are going to try to integrate the PTT technologies until the IDEN contract runs out with motorola in 2010(i believe that is when it runs out).
I would be worried about that though. Motorola has NEVER made a decent sprint phone.
