U.S. Cellular has been doing that for years...
so screw off Verizon.....ever since USCC has been in the St. Louis market they've offered this.

Anyone know if its possible to put ringtones I make or that someone sent me on my US Cellular phone? (which is a WAY better provider than VZW) I've tried putting a friends memory card w/ songs saved to it in my phone and nothing....i've tried bluetooth, nothing.....i've tried the data cable, nothing...
what the hell does a person have to do w/ this piece of crap verizon product to get ringtones w/o giving verizon more money?

i do indeed work for ABS........
we were told that the switch was because the new program allows us to integrate alot of things such as scheduling and our timeclock into one system. other than the fact that its like learning to ride a bike all over again, its not bad. we just have to figure out where stuff is and get in the routine like we had with Workwireless

we just switched from Workwireless to RetailIQ....the jury is still out on Retail IQ, but once we get into the groove I think it should be ok

KX 5 Music Player Mess Up
I talked with a US Cellular tech today and he educated me that the KX 5 has a problem reading any memory card over 512mb and that this is a possible cause to the phones resetting when you try to access your music. Dont know if this helps anyone, but thats what I have to pass along. He asked me to suggest to my customer to go with the 512 and make sure its not overloaded

one thing I have found seems to be pretty much b.s. about ABS is their commissions. Unless you people are all making it up, your $1800-$3000 a month commissions seem insanly high. This is my first job in cellular sales, but if that were the case I wouldn't ever stop selling these things.
Thoughts on ABS Communications?
Just curious what some of your thoughts for the St. Louis / Tulsa based ABS Communications agent. I've been an employee with them for just under a year, and just started posting and checking out these forums today. But I've seen a whole lot of negativity and was just wondering if there are horror stories or anything from any employees/former employees of this agent.

i got secret shopped and received a 65% because the company that owns our building threw like 400 lbs of salt in our parking lot and the outside of our store had salt stained up on the black framing around the glass....
only thing I actually missed as far as the secret shop was offering essentials, and that was more in the shopper by not moving from the front 5 feet of our store...
