also make sure you are setting the profiles to allow the callers to have their own ringtones if the boxes are unchecked the callers will just revert back to the default tone

ok well yes the 8320 is a wifi device and no you cant use the messenger services over wifi because they are considered sms messages so if you get unlimited text you can use messenger all you want... the os 4.5 has a far superior browser you can find it if you search around the www.crackberry.com forums they are better than here

you can get some free games on the browser on your bb go to www.jojoc.com it has free games, themes, tones, walpapers its a pretty cool site

ok i found from another forum, a beta copy of 4.5.0.10 and have recently upgraded to 4.5.0.18 which a more stable version of the os i love it, its sweet to have my bb shoot vidoe now

if you can get your hands on a beta version of the 4.5 OS you can stream youtube videos over wifi, i have the beta version and have personally used youtube mobile on my curve

haha they are for sure playing dumb the os is branded 4.5 i do have a beta version of it, yes it records video there are several other new feature to the new os that are great, but the beta version has issues and will reset the phone all the time due to a memory leak, so i would suggest waiting for the official release of the os which will hopefully be soon

a friend of mine is thinking about getting this phone and wants to know if you can program it to use the mls there are some phones that you can but i havent found anything on htis one yet maybe because its new

its been rebranded 4.5 and there are beta versions out but i havent found a confirmed date on release yet i keep hearing first quarter but there isnt much time left in that

its not any kind of patch you just call your service provider and they will walk you through it if you have the blackberry plan it should have unlimited internet so thats what the computer uses ... i use it all the time with my laptop it works great and i dont pay any extra for it

your curve can receive ringtones via bluetooth you just have to go into your ringtones and press menu and click on "receive via bluetooth it will give you like a 30 second window to start the transfer i figured it out when my girlfriend got her pearl also go to www.myxer tones.com you can get free ringtones legit from there they even let you upload songs and cut them up into ringtones in case you have hard to find ...

i love my pearl personally. ive had several pda's including several phones based off of the windows mobile OS and my pearl is the best by far i use phones to their full potential from every aspect of entertainment including mp3 and video to business software... the only glitchs ive ever had with a pearl are the volume keys on the side of the device quit responding but tmobile replaced the device right away with no charge to me

there is a god website that has all kinds of free ringtones and if they dont have what you want you can upload songs from your pc and cut them up on the site and put them on your phone all for free www.myxertones.com
