WM5 is super watered down, man. If you are going to go spend that much money on a phone, go all the way and get the full edition. You won;t be dissapointed, ad the possibilities are nearly limitless. Check out ppcwarez.org to see what some people have been able to their WM5 PPC OS.

From the PC, you need to go to Microsoft's site and search for and download Mobile Device Sensor 6. it should be free and is a small download. this should allow the PC to recognize the mobile device that is hooked up to it. For WM5 devices, Vista also needs a Mobile Device Center that can also be downloaded from Microsoft.com. This program is free and replaces ActiveSync 4.2. IF someone is hooking up ...

yeah, that's usually what they say, or its "I played 'round on dat phone fer two hours tryin' to git it ta work" Well yeah, and I know I do about four pairings a day and have been working cellular for years know, but I still enjoy "establishing my dominance" in cellular to the customer.

I absolutely love it when a customer comes in having problems doing something like pairing a bluetooth headset with a phone, and barely saying a word, I successfully pair the devices in less than a minute with no problem, hand the devices back to him and smile as he looks at me absolutely dumbfounded and ashamed.

Last night I found out that WM5 is not compatible with Vista. Personally, I think that's BS, so does anyone know anything more on the topic, cause its been over two weeks since I last synced (I'm nervous about losing data) and cx's are asking?

From I what I know, its not possible with the software that comes standard on the MDA. Chances are that someone, somewhere has designed software that allows it. I mean, hell, there's software that lets you control your PC from your MDA via the network, so there's no reason one can't control another phone through the MDA via bluetooth.
