Exactly, they can't advertise 3G on a phone until they actually have the service. They are starting to come with 3g phones so that when it does come out people will be able to buy one instead of waiting.

thats great. i too work for t-mobile and have had all sidekicks except for the lx and slide. i coverted to blackberrys. my main beef with the slide is the look. the software is the same as the lx. i know in my area of all the guys that have seen the slide they really dont care for the style and color. it almost feels like a cheap toy that you can buy at a dollar store. i wonder ...

motorola ruined this sidekick. they should never let moto even near the sidekick. if you knew anything about the lx, what it looks and feels like you would never say that the slide is better. get a clue. the only thing that the slide has is that goofy california blue accents that girls would like.

The slide is gonna be just like the LX as far as features. It is smaller and I dont know if i like the slide feature. Sidekicks are known for their swivel screens. the main thing is the color. Black with puple accents. I dont know many guys that would be caught dead with a purple phone.

you people are retarded. This is a basic Sidekick for a reason. If you want all the fun stuff that Sidekicks are known for then get a Sk3. The Sidekick ID is for people in general not just kids. It is also a great phone for the hearing impaired. It's half the price of the Sk3. Not everyone wants a mp3 player and camera. some just want the full keyboard and the look of a Sidekick. you cant compare the stripe to the pebl. They have some similarities as all phones do. the pebl has a cool way to flip it open, has motospeak, and video. The t329/stripe has none of these. The stripe looks like the old model x475 or e335 in shape. the outside display is a new thing for samsung T-mobile phones.
