can the 3125 run java?

I read somewhere recently that smartphones cannot run java (except blackjacks)... is this true? Does this mean any java apps/websites/games cannot be run on the 3125?

In looking for a new phone, I thought that there was just plain 'ol WM5... but now i'm starting to see people say "WM5, Smartphone" and "WM5, PPC" Is there really a difference? Are there different "types" of the WM5 platform?

so switchy you got me thinking - does this mean something slim like the cingular 3125 (HTC STRTrk), which has windows mobile 5 and IE Mobile - would allow you to hit pretty much any website.... i.e. citibank, any webmail, etc, etc? b/c ideally soemthing like the 3125 would be the slimmest option providing full web usage.

thanks switchy... but do they work well as phones? most reviews i've seen indicate these don't work well as phones.... i.e. poor call quality etc

I may be looking for something that does not exist yet... but maybe y'all can help me out! I'm currently using an ancient 3 year old sony ericsson T610 which, honestly, I totally love except that its starting to crap out a little and I'd like to upgrade. I love the OS on the sony as well as the UI and the SIZE is great. My desired device would primarily serve as a phone and be form-fitting. That said, ...
