Well i'm sure glad yall are getting up up there because here in NC we've been told the first quarter of 09 for the past 2 years and my our AAE and Area Managers told us just last week we werent expected to get it now until the forth quarter of 2010...dunno wtf is up with that

Alright to answer your question that nobody seems to have answere I haven't ran into a problem yet with this everytime i've called in and that they can renew within a month they let us do it I too work in the agent channel
For all the other crap going on me and my fellow agents have a good relationship with some of our retail associates but I reckon some of them feel because they work for the same company ...

and with the 1 yr warranty we cover the battery and the charger as long as it isnt customer abuse. And the 2nd phone is free AFTER rebate it's no different than any other company and yes US Cellular claims to be better than the rest but realistically how many times have you been somewhere and they tell you to go to one of their competitor b/c the competitor was better than them?

How was the BOGA special any different than any other companies promotions they all have the small writing or the quick talking on the commercials? It's Not. Now i will agree with the BS reasons to deny a customers rebate. I think the craziest ones I've seen were when ringing up a phone and the customer buying an accessory and them denying the rebate saying the customer didn't pay enough for the phone when the price they punched ...

I'm gonna have to agree with Masked Avenger my friend had a 6255 and we tried everything to break the phone (his mom owns our agent stores) he grilled it, froze it soaked it in water, threw it across parking lots a customer even came in one day asking what he thought was the toughest phone and he threw it across the floor popped the battery back in and it came on and the customer was convinced Hands Down ...

Yea I got one for me and my fiance with the BOGA special last tuesday when we first recieved ours and I love it...The music player isnt the best in the world as far as sound quality but other than that i hadnt froze up not problems with the touch screen it's more than expected honestly :D

Yea it's $249.95 I went ahead and got 2 tues. when our store got them with the Buy One Get Any Special though so i got two for $300.00 before two $50 rebates. Have had no problems with it the sound quality is great and love the touchscreen because everything is touch capable. The Q9c came out tues also and word is the Blackberry 8330 Curve is to be launched on the 20th

They started shipping yesterday (06/02) but the commercial launch isnt until June 10th. We recieved both colors of the dummy phones here last week

Actually shipment begins June 5th and every store should have them by the 12th but we can start selling them as soon as we recieve them. The Q9c is coming out within the next couple of weeks also

Both the LG 565 and the 260 are suppose to be unlocked for file transfer. Least thats what the LG rep told me.

I'm in the agent channel and we actually had our own technicians and we never refer customers to a corp. store. Pretty stupid of a store to refer there customers to another store that's money they're losing. Only complaint i've got with alot of retail stores are the people that work there think agents dont know sh*t

US Cellular doesnt have the money to spend that Verizon does either though. That actually spend their money making sure you have good service so you can actually talk on your phone (which is technically what they wre originally made for). No i'm not saying half my staff doesnt know what they're doing, what I was trying to say is that no matter where you go agent or retail more than likely there is going to be someone in the store more educated about def. aspects. Unless they all started at the same time have all the same customers with all the same problems and all have the same learning rate. My staff knows what they're doing but yes ...

Yea I work at an agent location and we do it almost everyday you just have to wait until the next calender day to switch them or it will screw up how USCC pays our company for the particular phone. I'm no where near chicago but in NC people with sprint pull the ole "i'll call ya back in 5 minutes when i get signal back" All we hear are complaints from Sprint. And the guy praisin sprint first said something about why not choose Suncom. We'll maybe if they didn't have the highest percent of dropped calls the somebody would. And Nextel wow they really blow for quarters.

I to had the v710 (with US Cellular) and had friends who had the E815 (with Allhell) and had the problem of wanting to switch or not. I got the KRZR the first day we released it (I'm a manager for US Cellular now but have sold Cingular, Alltel, Nextel, and Suncom) and love the phone. You can transfer files from phone to phone via bluetooth also the same way with your computer. I used mobile ...
