My suggestion is don't switch. If you look into what you will pay for a new smartphone with them, that should be enough to scare you away from T-Mobile.

I agree totally with you, dump them quick!!!! A friend has TMO and half the time I call him the call goes straight to voicemail, then I call him right back, then it goes through, and he is in a high signal area. They do not maintain their network worth a crap.

There was a negative HTC Thunderbolt review dated around March 18th that was titled G A R B A G E, and I noticed around 3 days ago that it was deleted. What the f*** phonescoop, how much is VZW paying you to keep honest reviews about their phones off of this site???? That REALLY sucks. You call this a reputable, honest site????

Question for Cell Student Regarding LTE and CDMA Tower Transceivers

Hi Cell Student, I have noticed here in the Chicago area that Verizon has installed smaller LTE transceivers on its towers. Formerly there were 12 CDMA transceivers on each tower, 4 going in each direction, in a triangle shape. Now, there are 2 CDMA transceivers and 2 LTE transceivers going in each direction (2 times 3 sides), for a tower total of 6 CDMA and 6 LTE, which is half the CDMA of what it was. ...

EXCELLENT post, mobilemadness, and very well written. The new plans are really not competitive with what you get with other carriers. I was looking to switch to USCC, but will not now because of the new crappy plans.

Hey, Mr. Know it all, What about us "light" users looking to port from another carrier and wanting a nice COMPETITIVE $39.99/month plan???????? What can your lovely so-called "belief project" do for me???? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!! Instead of porting to USCC, I will go to a carrier that does not entirely blindside the people on a fixed income and do not NEED more than a 39.99/month plan. later, BYE!!!!

Go with the Moto Droid X. The Incredible is a piece of crap, like all of HTC's products. The earpiece sound quality on the Incredible sucks. It sounds muffled, and you cannot hear any "s" sounds. For example, the word "soap" would sound like "oap" and the word "that's" would sound like "that." I have had several friends that have tried swapping out this phone many times for another identical model, only to find ...

I got Verizon to finally admit that there is an issue with the earpiece sound quality on the Incredible. From this forum, I have learned that HTC has also admitted the same flaw. Question--Why aren't they working to resolve it???? I have a theory. Verizon tells phone manufacturers to design a phone based on their RIGID specifications. In these specs, I am sure Verizon mentions "and make it so each unit costs no more ...

Menno, Have you had any issues with the microphone clarity on the Droid? I have friends with this phone who say when they call someone, the other person cannot understand what they are saying. Thanks.

My sister is looking to replace an LG VX-4650 with a good basic phone that is easy to use and gets great reception. I was thinking of the Moto W755 from Best Buy. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
