EXACTLY! WTF?! I really hope Verizon doesn't manage to pull a fast one over anyone's eyes with these bullshit prices. I was really hoping that VZW would capable of offering a valuable plan. This is not it. This is a joke.

No KOL, I'm afraid you missed his point. The person you replied to is advocating that the change in cost of subsidizing the phone be reflected in the upgrade price of the phone the consumer pays. Increasing the "Upgrade" fee and blaming the cost of the fee on the cost of equipment is underhanded and doesn't make a lot of sense. Also, your argument that it's better to pay it on your bill than at the time of ...

I ask you to provide hard evidence to support your claim that regulations in fact KILL industries. All you have provided in response is page full of hyperbole and conjecture. Each one of your "statements" is concluded with a question of "guess why?" Which you then fail to answer for me. The key to presenting a strong and convincing argument is to provide a clear and thorough point that is supported by factual evidence. You have done nothing here ...

But when asked to provide support for all these claims you're making, you have yet to provide anything in the way of support of those claims. I will tell you what, I will start taking you seriously when you can provide me with some references supporting all of your claims. ...

But more importantly, none of these carriers are even a blip on either AT&T or Verizon's radar. And what I mean by that, is that their capacity as a company to offer significant challenges to AT&T or Verizon's customer base is a pipe dream. Do you know why most of these companies are up and running? Because they're willing to take on the customers that AT&T and Verizon are unwilling to accept with out paying a heft up front ...

I do my best to explain what the actual FULL RETAIL value of the device is that they are buying. Considering AT&T's issues with network congestion in a lot of their larger markets, do we assume this new feature isn't going to add to an already over stressed network? You would think the better PR move would be to announce improvements and changes to their network.

I have no qualms with Sprint, and I appluad their efforts in bringing the company back from the abismal state it was in several years ago. I sell wireless in a state that see's very little competition among carriers. In fact for the longest time all we had was VZW and Altell up here. The reason I percieve VZW to be superior is simply based on national coverage. Yeah Sprint wins in a lot of price point comparisons, but ...

I re-read my post, and no where in there did I say that the it's any less true coming from a Sprint troll. What I, and now many other people in this thread, have pointed out is that no one really cares that Sprint had it first. If Sprint was such a great service and this was such an awesome feature then more people would be switching to Sprint.
