phone rings. screen doesn't light up
sometimes when i am getting a call on my behold i hear the ringtone like i am getting a call, but the screen doesn't light up. now this doesn't happen all the time so i am wondering if this is a defective model or if there is something that i am not doing correctly???
phone as a modem problems Sprint
just tried to set up my phone as a modem into my XP laptop. started the mobile broadband connection manager and it keeps trying to dial out #777 everytime i try to connect. is there something that i'm doing wrong because this never works and it keeps trying to dial and never connects...
pic msg's deleted after removing battery and sim
i was trying to see how many phone numbers i had saved to my phone as opposed to my sim card. so i took my battery and sim out, put an unactivated sim card in, checked my phone book. and put my old sim back in and all my call history deleted and all my text messages with pictures attached to them deleted as well. why is this?

how to change the messsage notification ring tone for the curve. i have tried every possible aspect of the notification ring tones. and i cant seem to get a different ringtone for new messages beside the default... does it involve the bb desktop software or something ?????

is it possible to upgrade the os on this phone? the old motorola sprint razr v3m platform is terrible. i want the linux one, :( i want to know though, if it has the same lag when trying to 1. delete more than 200 text messages at one time 2. receive texts without my phone freezing 3. use the external sprint tv key without having to take battery out and put it back in.

yeah, word up. i thought sanyo was done for. i was sad thinking about the s1 as the last sanyo phone. so i take it that this phone is going to be a hybrid sprint/nextel. good stuff.

TEXT 44458 to get the latest Rhianna RingTones...... do these folks realize that there are abusive short codes that flash on TV and the Internet 24/7 charging the unsuspecting customer 9.99/month for just one ringtone? and that customer specifically request this service to be blocked? these people petitioning the FCC have obviously never worked for a cell phone customer care call center before...the consumer requests this, we (sprint) don't do this automatically.
20 key qwerty keyboard
i read the specs listed by Sprint, and it said it featured a "20 key touch screen qwerty keyboard" does that mean its gonna be a blackberry pearl-esque keyboard? i sure hope not. i've been waiting very patiently to get rid of my M1 for this phone. i can't suretype for sheot.

i noticed that the Katana 1 says Qualcomm 3g on the battery cover. sooooooo if the Katana DLX has EV-DO r.0 is that necessarily 3g, or are the two not even related? and whats the difference in its upload and download speeds???? i need a phone that my kiosk sells, and i don't want a razr or upstage. this seems like the only suitable option.

this is at&t's scheming way to get landline customers onto their most expensive All Distance home phone service, and guess what? lets say you can afford to make only one of your phone bills on time, well with this combined billing crap, if you late on one, you lose both. how profound. i definatly call bullshoot on this one!

it uses the first 20 seconds of any .wma file, or you can use acid pro, chop up the song, convert it back to a .wma and use your own custom ring tones...
power vision freezing up
hey, i have been playing with this phone non stop. i don't have very much of my memory full (32 songs, 50 pictures, 1 10 sec. video) and i am just wondering if anyone has had problems with the internet freezing on them, i've had to reboot the phone (taking out the battery) twice today. and i'm wondering if its a defect with my phone in particular, or if i'm pressing buttons too fast, or if everyone expieriances this ...

yes, and i only say this because the 1.3 megapixel camera only works well on a Samsung phone.(i had the same pixelation problem with my nokia 6133, my friend has the same problem with the fusic) you should get the Samsung M610. same price, but you get the micro sd slot and the better 2 megapixel camera. i chose the M1 because i don't have a sandisk card and i can't afford one right now either. it works great, ...
