FYI: You shouldn't have had to pay anything via Verizon. The warranty covers all charges.

The phone should be under warranty. Just call Verizon and speak to the tech support and they will send you another phone free of charge!

Don't get the 700P! It is a waste of time and money. It will only give you problems. I've had 5 replacements all year. So have a couple of my friends throughout the country. Check my negative user review for it for more details!

Go with the Blackberry the Treo is a waste of money and time. It will only give you a bunch of problems. Check out my lastest negative review on it. I also heard the 6700 isn't great either. Goodluck!

So I should be receiving this phone tomorrow from Verizon since I've had a lot of issues with my Palm Treo. But now I'm having second thoughts since I've read a bunch of negative reviews and threads on here. People are saying that the touch screen can be unresponsive, the push email setting doesn't work sometimes, the internet is slow, the volume is low, and the battery doesn't last very long! Are these all true? Do you think some ...

Does anyone know how to silence a call without ignoring it! normally you would hit the side buttons but for the verizon treo 700wx i cant seem to figure it out....help please :?

Please help! :? I know the wx is the newer version but for those who own the w, are there any problems with it? I'm still trying to figure out which one to get, i dont need a whole lot of memory so the w would be fine for me, but i dont want to waste money if it has problems!! Thanks

Im thinking about getting this phone...what do you mean about vibra+ring....it vibrates than rings? does it do it together? when u have the feature on, your ringer ids dont work?? :?

honestly the battery life is fine. just when it runs out charge it completey. dont charge it in the middle....also it has a feature that says the battery is complete which is a great one......im always playing music and doing downloads on my phone and the battery is fine. i also talk alot on it....so maybe some people got a defective batch.....

8600 for sure....the chocolate sensors are annoying, they end up acting up, and the phone pad is in such a small area, so its difficult to dial and text!!! I had the cherry than i returned it and got the 8600 and love it.

I had the chocolate it sucked. The sensors were annoying and sometimes act up. The buttons were so close together texting and dialing was difficult (i even have small fingers). FYI, the new chocolates have speaker phone already...anyways this speaker phone is useless but everything else works perfectly. :wink:

If its free than why not. The only sound problem is the speaker phone....its basically useless. As for pictures its perfectly clear.

I have the phone and im a female. The other person said it best, it can only look like a certain gender would have it if its decorated a certain way. As for the speaker phone IT SUCKS! Its extremely low, no point of having it. But the music quality is perfect. I used to have the Razor so i was pretty annoyed about the speaker phone on this phone. First i got the chocolate but than exchanged it ...

In order to set the speaker on you must be on a call than hold the side camera button down. I'm warning you...IT SUCKS!!!! :paranoid:

Ya its weird....also when i try to play my song when the phone is shut, the sensor buttons take a while to play....anyone having that problem??

:? The speaker phone sucks on this phone as i'm sure everyone knows. I had the Razr and the speaker on it was perfect. Anyways, does anyone know if there is a software that can fix this issue?
