i totally agree. a hideous waste. all hammer head shark looking, and not in a good way. :roll: looks like they are trying too hard to make something "hi-tech" and "cool" looking.

AGREED: Bottom line, ATT needs to get its act together and focus on the fundamentals instead of rolling out with all of this useless marketing.
due to my experience as an indirect/contract employee for cingular/att, i would never use or recommend their service to anyone. i have come across way too many horror stories with customers.

I totally agree. i come across many customers who are looking to purchase or exchange their elderly/disabled parent's or children's cell phones for something simple & easy to use. hopefully more manufactuers will make some QUALITY products for this market.

actually, the # to warrenty exchange is 1-800-801-1101. there is also a 2 strike policy on the v3 only to avoid that 19 exchange thing. that is after 2 exchanges (thats 3 v3's total) you can ask for a different model phone. the phones they offer you are: samsung d807, motorola L7, sony w810i, motorola v557 (seriously), & samsung d407.
qwerty keyboard phone on helio?
does anyone know if helio plans to offer a phone with a qwerty keypad? doesnt really make sense to me that they dont yet seeing as so many of the features they offer would be streamlined by a device with a qwerty keypad.
VX9800 user's take on the 9900...
reasons to upgrade to 9900:
smaller, lighter, better camera, camera lens cover, prettier UI.
reasons not to upgrade:
have to purchase a new memory card (mini to micro)
the phone does not sit flat (honestly, what product designer decided that it was a good idea to have the camera stick out like that out of the bottom.)
honestly, i think my next upgrade will be to a data device / pda phone vs the enV. i txt more than i talk on my phone ...
