this phone isnt normally my cup of tea, but after spending a few hours with this phone (as well as the other "qchat" phones) i have to say that this one excelled over MANY of the phones currently offered in the MID range area (of sprint of course). The reception was fantastic, and when speed tested against the other phones, internet was noticeably faster. i placed a few calls, and this phone won again. id say sound quality as good ...

Re: What are the advantages of being a Sprint Employee
Mar 4, 2008, 11:30 PM
in the Sprint forum

in MY opinion while there are some good perks to being a sprint employee, (discounts/benefits and such)i wil have to waive a flag of caution for sprint employment. when i started sprint,i was a sprint natzi. seriously my eyes watered with love for sprint. its totally lame(ive grown up since) but by the time my employment was ending, i was just as fustrated as an employee as every customer who came in. its also important to note that in ...

dude i feel your pain...i actually left the company last month because of crap like that. and as all reps know, thats just the tip of the iceberg for sprint. it gets worse with the constant crashing irms (i swear i spent more time trying to fix things that the system messed up than actually doing my job description), angry customers in which a lot of cases we cant help because sprint wont give us the tools or resources. ...

Hack gone wrong makes iphone better?
Mar 4, 2008, 10:55 PM
in the Apple iPhone forum

well ive bounced around between so many phones...especially within the past few months. i always returned to my iphone. so officially i have used it longer than any other phone ive had. well i messed mine up and apple replaced it (again) and with a new iphone in tow, i decided its time to give hacking a go. so i I used iNdependence, and did all the stuff. to make it short i experimented with everything and ...

while I understand you feeling the need to back your company, as a rep myself (until VERY recently) I am aware of how things work. I know how they are. You can start using analogies to prove your point. I don't know how I could agree more, and I hated customers just as much as the next rep for the same reasons I AM NOT BEING ONE OF THOSE CUSTOMERS. And once again, I don't feel the need to ...

just for the record, i have the protection plan. phone NOT covered. and my situation had nothing to do with my ability to manage money. sometimes bad things happen to good people. why are you so angry at me? why are you angry period. i will assume since to refer to yourself as "us" that you are trying to represent att. do you work for them? even in that case...a customer calls crying for help in this situation and ...

nothing in my post was intended negativley. most of you responded with smart-ass, angry and negative comments at best. you attacked my character and my knowledge. and im just as shocked at your responce to this as i was to att. i know that i should have taken the discount on a phone when i started service. but i was excited. my bad. i never said i blamed or was angry at att for anything that happened with my ...

i guess i'll throw my rant on here, because i simply cannot believe at&t. im shocked right now. 0_0 i started with att in november. i had money, my cedit was rough, so i had to pay 750.00 deposit. i then purchased my iphone (400.00), and then made a 2400.00 payment to my account to pay my contract through the two years. i dropped my iphone within the first three days, damaging it to where i couldnt put headphones ...

this is starting to creep up as a known issue. i myself am starting tickets everytime i see the issue, and we are starting to set aside phones with the issue. its starting to become a standard issue. a soft reset is the only option out of that mode at this time. or you can remove the battery. it up to you how much work you wanna do. lol. i have the phone and issue as well. ill keep ...

thats the question. there is NO documentation anywhere stating that the sprint version has mms. there is a setting in the video options that will allow you to record a mms compatible video. but there is no such options in the camera menus, and after a picture is taken and you select the envelope icon, it will only let you message through a messaging service (in my case yahoo 2.0) or directly through e-mail. in the instruction manual it ...

there is no digital traditional key pad as it is unessesary. just press the numbers when not in an application or menu and it will dial. if you need to type in something like 1-800 flowers just type it like that first with the "1-800" then press and hold the "alt" key and spell "flowers". the phone automatically sorts what numbers belong to what letter and then dial that number when you press the send key. nifty trick huh? ...

WOW have i had issues getting this phone going! im posting this to see if ANYONE ELSE has been or has had the same problems. we are generally more tech savvy than the support at sprint. original account: employee account, had many phones everything worked great. introduce bb8830. activate phone, works great with ONE exception. the 1XEV that should be at the top, very often when i access internet my FULL signal would diminish and it would turn into a 1x ...

had a store meeting this morning, its supposedly IN store on the 23rd. im excited looks like a great phone, and loving the fact that we at sprint get the black ones. that silver one is kinda ugly imo. im still going to wait for the red one. knowing sprint it will be a month before we have open access to it. lol. i still havent seen a red centro at my store.

confusion with this unlocking sprint phones idea...
Oct 28, 2007, 7:34 PM
in the Sprint forum

im confused by this proposition. EVEN if this goes through 100%, SPRINT phones would be unlocked after termination of contract and final bill payment. thats fantastic right? ok. but that doesnt mean verizon or alltel will ALLOW the unlocked phones to work with their network, and that being said, that would also mean that in order to use the phones from verizon and alltel on sprint, they must be unlocked BY verizon and alltel ...correct? so in this situation ...

i work for sprint, and as such am required to wear one of the bluetooth headsets offered by sprint. in this case the moto h700. i have also used and older jabra headset, my pioneer d3(for the car) and of course the very nice apple headset. i have noticed, with both phones i have used, that when ANY other headset besides the apple one is used(it still happens with the apple one-its just REALLY rare, with the others its ...

although i choose not to comment on looks, i must say, i havent been able to put my hands on one, but it seems the phone is fatter than they are leading us to believe. all the verizon commercials as someone previously stated show some dude dancing with it, and then verizon only shows the phone face first, and then show it swiveled open. what about a side profile? from what brief glances i have got, the back side ...

well i got my hands on one of these phones today and got to play around with it. the phone does overall feel cheap, ESPECIALLY the stylus. i wouldnt go as far as ficher price, but still feels cheap. lol. as far as useability, while the software is essentially the same, it appears to be slightly easier to use. perhaps "more fluid operation" would be the appropriate phrase. and while the keyboard is VERY tiny, lol, its also not ...

the problem ended up not being a sprint problem, nor a handset issue. it was a problem with the e-mail. it was conflicting with my internet service. was very akward and unique situation. all i ended up having to do was sign into my bb account, delete my set up email accounts, log out and the re-create a whole new bb account. and it solved that problem. and i still stick by what i said in my review. despite ...

im really confused with your guys issues. in my experience (and i often use the sprint music manager) i could transfer any mp3 m4a mp4 to the phone directly and have it play. as a matter of fact when i use the included software it takes all of my music from my computer, and converts the songs that the phone cant read into m4a. so i dont understand how this is such a conundrum... seems like everyone is ...

well it was a total joke with a slight seriousness, so i shall elaborate...the m1, while WAY under promoted and a great phone it's not what i would consider trendy. by trendy i was referring to the razr, krzr, chocolate, pearl, ect. all of those phones are substandard in my book but they are popular and thus coveted by many people. the upstage will undoubtedly be one of those nest phones. which in the end, is the basis of ...

imo neither the q or treow are good buys. i do believe one will escape most off the horrors of both by getting a 700wx. works great. double the memory. and no patch can fix the hardware lacking in the 700w. the wx is the ideal buy. the q is WAY to buggy.

i have researched and researched to get aim on this phone. i have found ONLY ONE! and that is the obnoxiously priced application offered through handango and sites of that sort...if you happen to find one outside of that...PLEASE let us know! i did download the trial...and it does work. its also for msn, icq, yahoo, ect.

well as far as know, and from personal experience, you actually have to pay yahoo for one of thier "premium" e-mail services in order to not only aquire the information to sync your phone but to be allowed to sync it as well. I ended up just converting my main E-mail to aol.
