It's resetting the checksum for the Treo's Primary rate interface to default. Simply put, it's erasing internet settings so that the phone is forced to log on to the network using slot 0 authentication, allowing it to be provisioned by HCM. Does that answer your question? :lol:

It's a Linksys router that is compatible with some of the Sprint PCMCIA cards, you buy the card and router seperately

Usually calls from the store for me start out something like "I'm getting an error in FAST and I need you to fix it" or "I'm not allowed to touch this customer's laptop, but walk me through fixing their connection card while I parrot everything you say to me (so I look like I'm sooo smart)

Most teenagers don't need these devices. Most, not all, but most, are just texting friends and making calls. a Nokia can do that, why do they need a Palm or PPC? When was the last time you met a teen who needed to edit word docs on their phone or retreive email from a pop server over a thick client on the go?

No, with CDMA phones they authenticate using the ESN. The ESN has to be in the particular company's billing system to be activated.
So no, its not possible.
You are thinking GSM. The IP 830W is a world phone though, maybe check that out.

My opinion. I spent a couple of hours in our phone lab last night and played with it a little bit. Here is my 2 cents.
The first think I did, like I always do, was to check out the camera. Pretty good quality there, not grainy on the screen like some phones. I also tested the media player. I have to say I was a little less than impressed with the speaker quality, so ...

Yeah I hate that, they call in and they're like "I can't use my Blue tooth with my phone" and I'm like what happens when you try to use the headset and they say "It's not a headset it's a Blue Tooth"
And without fail, its always because they don't know how to put the headset into pairing mode and instead of looking at piece of paper or manual that came with the headset, they call in and expect ...
