Reconnecting Bluetooth Headphones?

I have the Logitech stereo(?) headphones which work great. Problem is I can't get them to reconnect after turning them off or if I stop the music too long and they timeout. Only way I've been able to reconnect is to Settings/Connections/Bluetooth/Menu/Devices/h ighlight "BT-Headphones"/Menu/Delete and then menu/New and have the phone rediscover the headphones. Shouldn't they reconnect automatically once they are "partnered"? I don't have any other bluetooth device partnered with the phone that could confuse ...

Thanks for the comeback, DaDuck... sorry I'm so slow getting back. I tried your suggestions, but same result. I seem not to be able to do any changes with PHP... not only will it not execute backup, it won't let me comit any reg changes... get: "error- unable to perform this operation" when I try to Save a reg key change. So appears to be a security issue. Probably your last suggestion is the key... unlock the ...

Using PHM?

DaDuck... I downloaded PHM Registry Editor ("Smartphone 2002,2003 (ARM/PXA)") and successfully installed on my 3125. Works fine to navigate and display registry keys and values. However, when I use PHM Tools-Backup to try to backup the registry, I get "Error Unable to perform backup". I wanted to backup before modifying anything. Do you have this problem? Thanks.

I was holding the POC button... pressing normally works as you indicate. :D Thanks, DaDuck! Would be good to change some of the exterior buttons... will look into that after learn all the standard goodies. My first smart phone, so a lot to learn! Having a blast! Glad this forum and the other you referenced are available to help.

Thanks, DaDuck. I tried that but no joy. I have 2 3125s and can't get either to work with any of the external buttons. Is there a certain screen needed? I have the phone open and the home screen active. I think I've gone though all the "Settings" and find nothing related. ???

Voice Tag Problem

I setup some voicetags for some speeddial keys. Setting them up seemed to work fine. The manual says: "To make a call or launch a program using the voice tag; 1. On the Home screen, press and hold the VOLUME down button on the left side of the phone for two seconds. 2. After a "beep" sound, sat the recorded voice tag that you have assigned to the phone number you want to call or the program you ...

Just got a 3125 and want a stereo bluetooth headset. Seems to be a ton of Logitech bluetooth stereo headsets on ebay... some for MP3 players and some for PCs (different transmitters). None seem to have model numbers mentioned. Are all these pretty much OK, or do I need to look for a specific model/models?? Thanks!!

Thanks, hex... I would have bought the wrong card! Went back to relook at the Qtek 8500 manual referenced by phonesnoop on the info tab... it says: 2. Install the Micro SD card Use a Mini-SD (Secure Digital) card in your phone to... I didn't notice the discrepancy and managed to focus on mini.

Mini SD card?
Oct 5, 2006, 8:49 AM
in the HTC 3125 / Smartflip / 8500 (Star Trek) forum

I am purchasing the 3125 and wondering if there are mini-SD card compatibility issues with any of the brands of mini-SDs. The Qtek Manual says Secure Digital but I'm finding other brands at better prices. This will be my first phone that uses external memory... I know some SD brands won't work with my Dell PDA. Any gotchas I need to be aware of before buying a miniSD? e.g. I've found a Ritek Ridata 1GB 150X Pro III mini ...
